Trying to get REFUND. Customer Support not helping

I've been trying to get a refund for this game for the past week, but EA Help seems completely useless!

Here are the basics:

-I purchased the game on the 20th of this month

-I launched the game for the first time on the 23rd

-I played for less than 1 hour

-I requested the refund on the 23rd within a few hours of having first launched the game.

The support websites automated refund request tool said I am not eligible for any refunds, despite meeting the criteria for one based on EAs terms.

I used the contact form to request a refund.

I received a response a day later. l was asked for my reason, I replied that I was not happy with the gameplay.

I got a response a day later from a different person asking me to provide a verfication code. I gave it to them.

I received another response another day later, from yet another person saying I did not meet the criteria for a refund (I infact do, as I explained in the initial support ticket). I provided my EA app log file so they could verify it.

I received another reponse another day later, from another person, asking me to verify my account details (username and email). I replied with the requested information and have not received a response since. That was two days ago.

There seems to be no progress happening with EA Support. I get a different person every time, with an entire day or more between communication's, with each new person seemingly not making any progress and not checking the information I've provided previously. I don't know if the support is broken, or if it's normally this bad!

Can someone on here help me out?

  • Same they Have Bailed On Helping Anyone With This Game. Single Player Is Broke And Ea Refuses To help Fix This Game.

    I want a refund for the game since is still in bad shape I purchase the game on the 23/24 of December and first played it 28/29 for less than 1 hour however the customer suport it's saying that I'm not eligible because the game was downloaded on the 23/24  and I didn't press play on that day it's illogical to count the download time as the first time launch of the game this is a total scam from EA games since I should be eligible as well I tried to solve the issue with 2 representatives from EA games that failed to understand the logic for my issue and my request as well requested multiple times for a supervisor to assist with the refund or to be put in touch with corporate however the second representative failed to assist me .

    I expect to be contacted by someone from EA games (corporate or someone who can assist with the refund)  to assist with the refund since the gameplay is bad and I wasn't assisted correctly. 

  • It's a scam from them I have the same issue with them and the game.

    There should be a lawsuit for this scam that they count the downloading of the game as a first time running the game.
