@EA_David Started the game and did not want to start directly with the story so it went into free roam and then the character creation when I was done with it I pressed my appearance and then it crashed. Now it also crashes before the main menu so I can't try that with the story unfortunately. Same after repairing 😢
Under documents the File i also deleted but to no effect
Update: now i wanted to Change the upscaler cause i Play with DLSS than i Crash every time
Direct3D could Not allocate sufficient memory to complette the call

Can you start with a Clean Boot, make sure any overlays and such are closed down, they're often a factor if you're seeing GPU instability.

If the issue still persists, it's worth trying a driver reinstall, if there are driver issues this will hopefully help.
1. Go to%userprofile%\documents\need for speed(GM) unbound\settings
2. delete everything in there.
3. Go back and go into cache and delete the file that ends with Dx12
4. go to the installation folder of your game most likely C: drive Program files> EA Games > need for speed unbound> shadercache > delete anything that ends with Dx12.
NOTE: the 1st and 2nd step should fix the problem , it did For me, update all drivers and the new patch they released. I was having the same problem , and it worked after reading this whole forum!!
@02c17c535522d9d3 I just tried all of those steps and the game crashed again within 5 minutes of gameplay.
Same here, but I managed 1 race before it died!
So I followed @Reitilein steps for an all AMD build fix, and it once again has me playing without crashes, so I'm content for now, but wont be updating a single thing on this pc going forward as i'm not trying to break it again XD
This game constantly crashes for me. I have tried everything in this thread that constitutes a fix and none of it works.
It is always with this file nvlddmkm as shown in the event viewer.
I see alot of its broke on ultrawide...well I run 3440x1440 with a 4080 and this is the only game that crashes.
Replying just to say I’m still in the same boat. It’s great that some people fixed it, but this is till very much a serious issue that needs to be resolved. The game always crashes within 5 minutes for me.
Ok...it really must be with ultrawide, no crashes at 2560x1440. This is one odd issue.
@KingBobYJr it’s not exclusive to ultra wide. I play in 1920x1080 and the issue still persists.
