DX12 Error

1. Go to%userprofile%\documents\need for speed(GM) unbound\settings
2. delete everything in there.
3. Go back and go into cache and delete the file that ends with Dx12
4. go to the installation folder of your game most likely C: drive Program files> EA Games > need for speed unbound> shadercache > delete anything that ends with Dx12.
NOTE: the 1st and 2nd step should fix the problem , it did For me, update all drivers and the new patch they released. I was having the same problem , and it worked after reading this whole forum!!

This game constantly crashes for me. I have tried everything in this thread that constitutes a fix and none of it works.
It is always with this file nvlddmkm as shown in the event viewer.
I see alot of its broke on ultrawide...well I run 3440x1440 with a 4080 and this is the only game that crashes.
Replying just to say I’m still in the same boat. It’s great that some people fixed it, but this is till very much a serious issue that needs to be resolved. The game always crashes within 5 minutes for me.
Ok...it really must be with ultrawide, no crashes at 2560x1440. This is one odd issue.
- @KingBobYJr - try Battlefield 2042, u will see it crashes in the same way. It's an issue with the frostbite engine but EA wouldn't give a F about it. Nobody even replied to this thread in over 2 weeks! just move on - Forza Horizon 5 is sooo much better anyway.
