Re: NFS Unbound - Unable to launch on Steam Oct, 23rd

@2Smoke™ (2 humo) Sorry, but what you mentioned didn't work either, I waited more than 24 hours to be able to start the game again and it didn't work and I haven't started EA from any other machine or computer either, since I shouldn't because I only have my PC and that's where I have the video game, on the other hand, I would ask the community not to try more methods to be able to solve something that EA should solve for us and as soon as possible. PLEASE. We are the clients, they should solve the problem we have since we have paid to be able to play their video game. Thanks

Do you have the file I mentioned?

    C:\Users\your user name\AppData\Local\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\Logs\EAapp_OnlineActivation_Log.html

If so, can you look inside and see what it says?

    I have, already know that.

So I don't know why there's an extra two seconds between the server and my local time, and then the game stops running

And then as soon as I start the game, even if I've waited 24 hours game still can't run it, so its something going wrong with the server, i guess

As you can see it says there is a license error. This is due to denuvo protection. Most of the time it gets better within 24 hours. But you shouldn't touch it at all. So there is nothing you need to do on your PC. This situation is so bad that if you have an EA Play account, you cannot even open the game from there.

So the problem is neither in Steam nor in the game. Complately server thing.

I (kinda) know the solution to this issue, just launch the game once with the account of someone else who owns the game.

But this time is different, just somehow the server is getting werid time different and usually its not due to this.

I'm not sure if it's just me but when i got to my files C drive> username > theres then no file titled 'app data' or 'local' to proceed forward. @2smokeTM

  • It's a hidden folder, goto view tab and show hidden

Try also Hit Windows button and type %appdata% and hit Enter, may lead you to Roaming, our folder is local appdata

  • AppData is a hidden file system. You need to show hidden files. I can never remember the process, but it's in a properties menu somewhere.

    -edit-

I'd like to add, I tried loading the game today, and hit play a second time when I saw the "Preparing game" popup, and it worked. So I don't know if someone's fiddled with a dial on the server, or if hitting play a second time arbitrarily just worked. But I can play, at least on this initial try.
