Horrible Graphics on Ultra Settings (PC)

I've been playing this game for a bit and have been perfectly fine, but i started it recently (game didn't update as far as I understand nor did I make any changes aside from download a new graphics driver) and edges got incredibly jagged, textures especially on the character came out muddy and blurred together, and overall the game has a blurry, hazy look to it, as if I'm running on the lowest possible settings, but again, I'm on Ultra Settings like I was before at the real resolution of my monitor (i even tried setting higher as a test which made every flicker and glitch out).

Here's an album of some examples of how the game looks (i'd suggest expanding the photos to see, when they're viewed as an inline they look fine), including some examples of how the game looked before. https://imgur.com/a/lTJMWXk

I'm running on a 1050 ti and as i said before, had no issues with the game before this, and it was very random, if someone has a fix that'd be great, thanks!

  • @Baldietwat I can't fix everything cause this game is bad, with forced postfx, crappy AA and LOD popping. But what you have to do is set the graphics to what you preffer. When chaning texture settings you have to restart the game somehow. Texture filtering I rather handle using NVIDIA control panel. Set anisotropic filtering to 16x and texture filter quality to highest available. Assets load in slow so defrag your harddrive or game folder. Defragging speeds up loadtimes, I can recommend defraggler for that. (If you use an ssd don't do this) And TAA is your best bet when it comes to AA so sorry. EA should remove the damn crappy forced sharpening filter too.
  • I am having an issue with the game, specifically some textures load really slow/ don't load at all as seen here in this picture . What can I do to fix this?

Everything is set to ultra and I have the latest drivers.

    Specs: I5 7500, GTX1650, 16GB, HDD WD Blue 1TB 7200rpm.

@SaitoLife do you have an SSD that you could add the game on and see if that helps, also how much ram do you have?

  • @EA_Atic Hey, I know this thread is from 2 years ago (I try to avoid duplicates), but I have the same issue, as seen on picture.

    Platform : PC

    Config : I7 9750-H, GTX 1650, 32Gb of RAM, Samsung 870 QVO SSD

In game options : High preset settings, 1080p (already tried on low settings, same issue)

    What I already tried :

    - Disable Origin in game

    - Tweak in the Nvidia control panel with the method seen in this video from FixTechGaming

    - Repair the game via Origin

    - Clean install of the game
