Hey EA_Aljo,
I understand that all 32 teams cannot be controlled in custom leagues but how about in franchise mode?
Sadly dont expect Franchise mode be any difference that Custom league.
EA only added a new settings menu. Everythings else is the same in all three Franchise options... ☹️

This is something we have been waiting YEARS for, EVERY other sports game has the ability to control more than one team in a franchise mode. I and I know a lot of people won’t be dropping $90 to play a season mode for one year with minimal features. This is extremely disappointing news, and I think that the team should seriously consider patching it in. I will not be buying this game anymore until the dev team finally listens to the loyal offline community that has helped support this franchise for decades, and I will be sure to try to steer others this way too. PATCH MULTI-TEAM control in PLEASE EA.

I have no clue how hard it would be to patch such a feature in but if it’s possible I’d highly encourage EA to get on it. Last year was a good year Patch wise at least in terms of additions with things like Shot/Pass bias added along with all the IIHF Teams so I’m hoping EA is open to Improving 23 with similar Patches this year.
@grentthealienWell let's just hope they patch it in. I'm sure they can and I bet they do. We should still be patient, the full game hasn't even been released yet.

I too am sure they can, but wouldn’t hold my breath on them actually doing it.
- @Atishksingh They are definitely not going to patch it in… ability to edit players is as simple as being patched in since it’s LITERALLY in the game… they just choose to keep us locked out of it…
Never, ever, ever, should you ever, expect EA to give us anything that we ever beg for… it won’t happen lol… - @heavydutyrammer I mean if thats the case I just wouldn't play or go online to the forums. There's many other great games out there a d if I don't like 23 then ill just chill until 24 is coming out.
I buy it as used from private like last year. I wrote a lot to devs at forum, social media about what could make this game better for Franchise Mode. EA all the years ignored all suggestions, and not one was implemented to the game. So they will not earn money from me anymore. NHL 22 ist good enough to play a longer time with the Roster share feature.

- @heavydutyrammer I know. I'm still playing my NHL 20 since I did alot of custom work too it. NhL 23 is obviously a huge upgrade but I still wanna see what I has to offer before I make a purchase.
how do you guys come up short on everything so consistently
- @Atishksingh I personally wouldn’t call it a huge upgrade… but that’s only my opinion.. depends what you want from the game I guess… NHL 21-23 offers very little for an offline player.. or at least most offline players…
Franchise Hockey Manager on steam is actually really good… very in-depth and realistic.. only downside is no actual hockey gameplay… very authentic and data-analytical based.. lots of fun but doesn’t quite scratch the hockey itch… @heavydutyrammerYa I'm a only offline players aswell and VERY passionate about having accurate looking players and eras of the NHL past.
There's many that feel similar to myself like you I see. I think that's why we've all gotten a little louder with the requests in the past 12 months because the game has gotten better overall.I meant to say 23 is a HUGE upgrade from 20. Naturally.
@Atishksingh I mean, huge upgrade is an overstatement. Frostbite did some nice stuff, but there are still so many badly scanned/designed players out there. So, I mean in terms of graphics, and some customization, its an upgrade yes, but huge no.
There are some games, even ones by EA that have much better graphics and animations. It gets worse as you play. I mean my starting center DeAndre Jones. He's a 5'10" 215 lbs Power Forward. He's go blond hair and he's Asian. Victor Wong, my third pair defenseman is a TDW with an afro and he's white. Victor Valkov my back up elite goalie from Russia is black, with white hair and a beard. He looks about 17 even though he's thirty two now.
So, yeah the graphics are nicer, but the underlying issues are still the same. The players look like crap.

The wrong face scan drove me.nuts too lol. Many Alumni also have wrong faces I only play Franchise.
Ended up going back to NHL 20 when I realized that X-Factors pretty much mean nothing in simmed games and its all you need to maniuplate to get +5 across all Chem lines. I prefer to sim my season, so I can feel like a real GM. I only play Playoff Game 7, and random games when my scouts reports fall on a game day.
So, yeah, its not as pretty on the ice, but 20 at least let's my fix the small details to my players. I also refuse to manipulate anything other then position (LW/C/RW), look, and the occasional playstyle, like when I got a 26 year old PLY with 72 Passing and Dekeing yet with a 92 Slap and Snap shot Acc.
