Re: cheating world of CHEL

There are legitimate issues with matchmaking in WOC.  As far as I can tell, outside of the playoffs, there is no division-based restrictions.  My club in division one regularly get matched up with clubs in division seven and below.  And matched up very quickly at that ( ie within a minute or so ).  This seems to have started in the last couple of years, likely to increase matchmaking speed in a dwindling community.  You'd think with cross-play enabled the community would be big enough to restrict matchmaking a bit, but here we are.  It would be nice to be able to define a range ( be it division or RP ) when searching for matches.  Something like "+/- 500 average player RP".  Teams that prefer shorter search times could open the window wider and teams that want to play against similarly skilled opponents but are willing to wait a bit longer could narrow the window.

As for "glitching out" a club game, I have to say I haven't seen any evidence of that happening in the last couple of years.  I'm not saying it's impossible, but I haven't run into it for a long time.

Dude. Gow can the top teams all have records like88 -5-3. If the ranking systems  worked those numbers would be impossible.

They ps5 players do something  at the end of the game to keep the game data from registering.

You can't accest player summary  abd no progress  points.

Every game has campers . Not just the FPSers I guess...

@n2518qgzyhxw I thought I laid it out pretty well, but to reiterate: There's no matchmaking restrictions. This is a problem that should be addressed.

Really good clubs will get matched up with much weaker clubs all the time. Many "top" clubs will also refuse to play each other to maintain their inflated records. With the matchmaking system the way it is they can afford to pick and choose their opponents which results in the records they have.

And I never said it was impossible that an exploit exists that allows teams to make games not count. There certainly has been in the past. I just said I haven't seen or heard of an active exploit in a couple of years.

I can't really add much to what @PlayoffError already said, but something to keep in mind is the region you play in. You may not have as large a pool on the West or SW servers for example. The search will expand if a suitable match can't be found, but for the most part, you're going to be matching up with clubs in the general region of the captain. I'm in the SW where my club is North. Since everyone but me is north, one of them normally does the search so we have a pretty good pool of other teams searching when we are. It's not often we get matched up against the same team multiple times in a night. If your club has players in different regions, try having someone else start the search. Also, you can change the location setting to Relaxed. That will search for clubs outside your region as well.
