I'm not seeing any issues with your test. Unfortunately, I have nothing else to suggest. Please try contacting an advisor through Twitter (@EAHelp), Facebook (facebook.com/eahelphub) or by opening a case here.
So new tests: I recorded the traffic when I play the game and wow … I think I located the problem. Look at the picture, every 3 to 4 packets the game sends 2 to 4 packets over TCP to an server in the US in Virginia. The other server is the Game Server in Frankfurt Germany. This is why I have 7 ms Ping, the 3 to 4 Packets to the US Server are my 250-400 ms lag (100 ms to USA for every packet) The 18.157.71.129 is located in Frankfurt Germany, the 52.239.157.202 is in Virginia US. The 192.168.2.27 is my Box. So why does this happen? A friend of mine tracked his traffic in Game and there are no such packets to the US. We located all servers in Europe to … some are in Stockholm Sweden and in Amsterdam Netherlands … Hope the technical support will take a look in this … there is something wrong here!

Thanks for the new details. I'll look into this for you. One question though. When you ran the test, were you in a game or were you in the menus before the game started? Also, I'm going to be out of the office for the next few days so I won't be able to respond until Monday. I'm very sorry for that. We'll keep looking into this when I get back.
Edit: I found out the game sends out pings while in the menus and during gameplay. This is to make sure you're on the server with the lowest ping for your location.
- @EA_Aljo I'm everytime in the menus before the game startet. But I don't know exactly if I start the tracking in the middle of a game or at the start. I have testet it multiple times and there is a lot of traffic to servers over TCP to a lot of North American Servers. My friend testet too and there is nothing to see from traffic to north american servers. This can't be an issue with my network cause the protocol shows clearly thet all the wrong traffic comes from the xbox.
Can you tell me when you will finally arrange a remedy ??? I have incredible problems with the game, right from the beginning it shows the loss of packets, including a high ping, but a few tests right after the game fell on me, it shows no connection problems, so where the hell is the problem ?? !!!! I'm attaching a video from the game! And a look at the tests shows the loss on your server !!!!!! And very high ping times !!!!!!!!!!

Had my usual HUT Champions Games and the usual issues. Lost 4 games, probably would have lost more games if I had a bad team. Lost two games against a guy who finished behind me. Couldn't pressure his players, way more agile and I had the usual "fat man lag", my players played like mindless zombies and didn't do anything even with High Pressure and Full Attack, he was skating in circles along the boards. Conceded one goal where the puck went through my players skate...Frankfurt servers, he was from Sweden.

I watched EKI play on Xbox on his Youtube channel as he wants to play GWC on Xbox, his online gameplay was so smooth, it never looks like this on my Xbox, amazing!
Anyway, good luck to all guys from Central Europe playing in GWC, you'll need it with those servers. I'm pretty sure it will only be players from Scandinavia in the finals as usual. Played a couple of games in eashl 6vs6 drop-in with over 150ms ping; no noticable lag and scored 10 goals with a grinder... easy.
Played a couple of games with a teammate in eashl club 3vs3, 5ms ping; can't move, can't pass the puck, can't intercept. WTF!
Btw, I live in Stockholm, Sweden and most times I can't play a fair game against other Swedish or Finish team either. Games often ends like 12-2 to one totally overpowered team.

There shouldn't be a lot of traffic to North American servers, but as I said, pinging other servers is normal.

Your tests look good so I really don't know why you're lagging so much. Unfortunately, you've tried everything I can suggest. Try messaging @EAHelp through Twitter or post a message to our Facebook support at facebook.com/eahelphub. You can also open a case here.
- @EA_Aljo This game is the biggest waste of all games that exist !!! It is absolutely not fair, and not at all in online mode !!! I have a ping max of 20ms, but it will also look for games where the average ping is 40ms and the worst part is that those games with worse ping can be played better than when I have a ping of 16ms and if I have one, the game is incredibly delayed !!! What's the point of collecting a card in that game ??? When there is a player who has a lower class and is faster anyway !!! I've been solving it for an incredibly long time !!! I have great internet, but I still have problems and every game is different !!! So what is it ???? I'm just unlucky because I'm one of the few who reports problems !!! And that's why I'm absolutely not interested in them !!!

Third game against a Czech player in GWC, unplayable. Down 3:4 with 2 seconds to go, nothing more to do than take the loss. Last play of the game, soft pass past my 93 Lafleur who has 99 Def Awareness, 99 Puck Control and 91 Hand-Eye, doesn't even try to pick up the puck or reach it. And the soft shot (TOTY Makar looks lost as well) afterwards which Smith can't handle is just the icing on the cake. It's beyond ridiculous...only happens in fat man lag games.

Hello, I have been writing several times and still without a reasonable answer! I have a problem that the game lags me and loses packets! At the same time I have a ping diameter of 15ms !!! This is an NHL 21. And I would say according to the UO trace test it's about your servers !!! I have already tried several internet providers and still have a problem, so I conclude that the problem is on YOUR side !!!!!

Were these tests run on different connections? The first one looks like you're on a wireless connection very far from the router. The second test looks wired. However, neither have sent 100 packets. Could you run the test again with sending 100 packets? Also, make sure you're testing on the connection you play on. If that's wired, make sure your PC is wired and if wireless, try to run the test from as close to your console as possible.

Those tests look ok. Was there anything different with these tests, besides sending more packets, than the previous ones? Your first test from your previous post shows a terrible connection to your router.
- @EA_Aljo the first test was done on wifi networks .. Otherwise in other tests the problem is hop 15, there right from the beginning a packet loss of 2-5%, and then hop 12 is added the same ..

You're playing on a wired connection, correct? You shouldn't be running the test on wireless in that case. Your tests are looking ok. Except for the last one. Which is ours. That could be due to the distance your data is traveling to that test server. I'm not seeing other tests showing any problems with it. Once again, I'm not able to find any issues so I really don't know why you're lagging so much. Unfortunately, I don't have anything else to suggest as we've tried everything previously.
- @EA_Aljo This is terribly funny, you don't have a solution for me, but the only problem in online gaming is your game !! I have no problem at all in another game !! And it's terribly sad that it's not at all who decides who can play, but who has a lower ping !! not only in delay, but mainly in the behavior of teammates and in the ability to win the puck at all !!! Which makes the game absolutely unbalanced and unfair conditions for everyone !!!!

Just my last post before I let it go because this is just a never ending issue, I hope someone from EA reads this whole thread and is going to investigate and finds a solution.
Played one of the GWC qualifiers two weeks ago, finished 8th, had my share of terrible connections, including the usual "puck goes through skate" (see here) and my players being braindead (see here).
Had my GWC game today against a Swedish player I've never heard about, 70ms ping in both games (see here), unplayable as expected. He won the first game 9:4, scored three SH goals against me, one was when I had a 5on3 PP. In the second game which I lost, my TOTS Demko had a .455 SV%, 11shots 6 goals, couldn't have saved a beachball. My players didn't skate, couldn't shoot, turned around slowly, were unable to pick up or intercept pucks. That was my GWC experience.
Watched Eki on Twitch afterwards, he had a 10ms connection against his opponent who rage quit the second game when Eki was hosting after going down 0-8...everybody in the chat praised Eki's play (deservingly) and talks about how easy it is to win on Xbox but nobody saw the disadvantage his opponent had with the connection because I could see how bad his players moved (=fat man lag)...
Anyway, the online gameplay is broken for certain players in Europe (and probably in NA as well), the game is far away from E-Sports ready. Not much else to say, we've got 24 pages with videos and technical analysis like the UDP GSVP protocol and people complaining, countless connection tests I've done. It's the game and its net code, it's up to EA to change it. See you in NHL 22.

In the video where the puck clips through the skate, this will happen when the player's stick is clipping through another object. It's possible that's what is happening here. However, I agree that shouldn't cause this particular example to occur. Unfortunately, it does. This is so that you can't have your stick through a player/object and still make contact with it. While it works really well, there of course are situations like this that happen. Their stick clipping through another player probably shouldn't stop the skates from being a solid object. I know the dev team is aware of this as well so hopefully, we'll see changes to it in the future.
As far as the other clip goes, that's unfortunate for sure. They try to play the puck, but since they are so close to the goalie, the goalie's stick is knocking it loose.
Eki is also one of the best players in the world. Even on a perfect connection, he's going to be a hefty challenge for most anyone. Unfortunately, fatman lag doesn't show up on video. It's something you have to feel. There are so many different variables that make up your ping. It would be a lot easier to troubleshoot if everyone were experiencing the same thing, but we often see people in the same region, on the same ISPs with very different pings. These could be related to regional and/or network traffic, the type of traffic on the network, equipment, ISP issues, etc. I wish there were more that could be done for you. The best I can say is that if we find any issues with our servers in your region, we'll investigate them.

I know clipping is unfortunate, happens quite often though in my games. I played a game today which I would consider hardly playable, check out the 2on0 and the "phantom save", Bishop never touched the puck... As I said once before, I am trying to help, I still finished 16-4 in HUT Champions but casual players will leave this game if they encounter gameplay like this and the Development Team shouldn't be surprised if the user base is dwindling when stuff like this is not fixed. Because in the end, it's not fair. Thanks for understanding, take care.

This isn't a connection issue. The physics volume is probably a bit disconnected from the visible mesh in that pose. I'll pass this on to the dev team for review. Thanks for sending it in.
