Occam’s Real Deal CPU vs CPU sliders v25 Total Realism Update with Authentic Sound
****Update 25***
The first thing I wanted to talk about before getting the sliders pulled up was the propensity for the game to change slider values in franchise mode if you exit without saving. It likes to change the stick in physics slider and the fall and stumble fall ease slider. So always be aware of that when in Franchise mode. Also, as you cycle between slider sets keep an eye on the Post whistle rules setting as this will change as well. Just keep cycling in either direction until it switches to your slider set along with Authentic rules. You could also change it every time manually and re-save your slider set. Please be aware as well of your Penalty sliders under the Rules menu as they have been known to change as well.
These sliders were injected with clocked NHL game speed. I’ll explain how next.
I’ve been really frustrated in the past about real game speed being incorporated into play. I’ve found a way to do it though. I did some research and found that the fastest hockey players can skate 10 yards a sec or 4 seconds flat in a 40 yard dash. Then I looked up info on Hockey rink dimensions and found they are 200 ft long. Then I converted that to yards. Which came to roughly 67 yards. That means the fastest hockey players can skate from one end to the other in 6.7 seconds flat! But to get Conner Mcdavid’s exact time I used his average lap time numbers and converted them using Artificial Intelligence if you can believe it! The AI and I ended up with 6.63 exactly for Conner Mcdavid’s time for end to end rink skating.
So I grabbed Conner McDavid I went into free skate and loaded my sliders and timed him skating from one end to the other and adjusted my sliders till he made the skate in 6.65(closest I could get). So McDavid can make a real time run, in game, full speed, from one end of the rink to the other in exactly 6.65 seconds flat.
