Game freezes and crashes in champion / legend select screen

Which Legend were you playing (if applicable)? Pathfinder, but i wasnt tracking if it persists with specific legends

Where did the issue occur? In a match
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. Character select. Only character select. Usually when its time for me to pick, but not allways.
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. I was trying to select or waiting for the rest of the squad to select their character
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? I don't know
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? Overall - Many, on most recent gaming session after 2-3 games
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) As of most recently, just now 09.11.19 18:18 ish GTM+2 But it started with the last update. Had no such crashes since the launch of the game.
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
How severe is your issue? Major impacts to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? Game just freezes on character select and since mainly i play ranked, my points are taken as if i left the game myself before it has even started. Not getting penalty though. Nor any errors...
What should be happening instead? Game should not freeze. Ever.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play some Apex? :D But i dont think this is that common. It started after the last duos update.

So i tried going ranked, and during the character select screen the game froze. I don't want to get banned because the game froze, what do i do? The game is still running

It's also using 0%-0.5% CPU and is stuck at a white screen

Edit:Nevermind, i closed the game using the task manager and i didn't get locked from the game, but i still very frequently have this issue.Any fixes for it?

I have the same problem. 

Hello everyone, since some updates of the game, my game keeps frezzing. Right after I see the champion squad before the jumpship. In middle of these 2 transactions. it's absolutely random. but make is unplayable since I need to (ctrl+alt+del) and take the process down. never happend before season 3.

Specs:.

i5-3470

Ram:12GB

SDD: kingston uv500

Graphics: ASUS Strix GTX 960 latest driver 441.12

Same here after the latest update. It happens to me every other game. Its too frequent and game is unplayable for me. I am loosing points in ranked due to this.

it happens only while playing squads and since the latest update, updated graphic drivers and reinstalled apex once.

so i have problems with Apex lately. Almost every second or third game I try to play,either when I choose the champion or the games starts the countdown of the new round apex freezes.

I have tried:

-Borderless windowed
-.Fullscreen

-My graphic card is up to date

-Adaptive fps

-Direct x is up to date

Pc specs:

-Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6gb Max-Q design

-8gb RAM

-Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7300HQ CPU @ 2.50GHZ

-Windows 10

What happens when the bug occurs? When picking a legend, it just freezes and I can't close the game. I can't even alt tab because the game is in fullscreen.
What should be happening instead? It won't freeze.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? While I'm browsing for a fix if it exist, I saw posts of some player that encountered the bugs, I don't know how to trigger the bugs but it always happen to me and my rank points will be deducted.

When picking a legend, it just freezes and I can't close the game. I can't even alt tab because the game is in fullscreen.

To add to this.

I heard from players if you scroll really fast over the legends and spam pick this can trigger this.

I could not get this myself to trigger but it happened to others
