Voice Chat not working properly on Nintendo Switch

What happens when the bug occurs? The game's in game chat is very choppy and not on in the lobby. My friend from PC was not able to talk to me as usual and that has highly detracted from game play. If there's any way you can fix the voice chat, please do.
What should be happening instead? Clear smooth vocals during game play, not choppy and not able to be understood.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just play the Switch version and try to talk to other games. Hopefully something can be done to make chat better

Same thing happening to me as well. I did some more experimenting, since I own a switch and a Xbox. I Joined the lobby with both accounts, and resulted in jittery audio for the voice chat. However with two Nintendo users they can hear each other perfectly fine. This could be a platform glitch and will be greatly appreciated by the community if fixed ASAP.

When I talk to ny friend's my mix always lagging badly  and it crashes like every 5 games

Hi, we are tracking an issue where there's no chat in the lobby, but in an actual match it should be working. Can I check if you have experienced this in an actual match itself or just in the lobby?

The voice chat has the problem in match and in the lobby.

What happens when the bug occurs? Voice chat for anyone including me gets randomly cut out very frequently, repeats itself and/or is very delayed or laggy. WHeneverr you speak or you hear someone speak it cuts out very often and most of the time you can only hear snippets of the persons voice.
What should be happening instead? Smooth sounding voice chat with no severe cut offs

I can confirm the same.  Switch chat audio is completely garbled in lobby and in game and completely unintelligible.  it appears to only be an issue when Switch users are talking to other consoles or PC.  Switch to Switch works fine...but everything else is toast.  I can't wait for a fix so my son can get off my back lol
