Balance is the last thing that matters in Apex. What the devs focus on, is forcing you to play "metas" and seeing which one retains the most players.
It doesn't matter that Rampart is OP, she has a low pick rate. It's boring camping behind her covers. Most of the time, you end up obstructing your team. That's why I never played her again.
Sure I get that but when a rampart, a controller legend, with a mini gun can crack a blue shield and eat into my health, all the way from the 3 story building in fragment to the centre point of monument you have to start questing what the creators were thinking in the first place. She’s not a controller, and even if she was a assault she would still be unbalanced
