Things that could improve the Firing Range
First off, I would like to say that what you guys did with the firing range was amazing. There is so much detail in it that helps create a realistic feel. However, there are some things I think you could add and alter to make it even better. I will list my thoughts on how it could be improved.
Advanced AI: Allow the bots to walk around circular objects in a straight path from point A to point B and change locations. Give them stronger patterns to follow. It would be great to have 2-5 bots roaming through the firing range so we can practice firing at targets while they try to get behind objects. This would require us to time our shots when they come into view.
Better Aim: The aim of the bots in the firing range currently mimics the old firing range. They have poor aiming and only shoot in bursts, lacking the real feel of a skilled opponent rapidly firing a high-powered weapon with accuracy. Even though there are a lot of bots, they still can't hit you most of the time, even when doing a minimal strafe.
Taller Buildings: It would be great if you could add the 5-stack building in Fragment. This would provide better practice for special techniques involving zip lines in those buildings. Additionally, you could place bots in front of the elevator shafts to practice zip jump shots.
(New player add-on): Please consider putting a drone ball in the air for players to practice timing their hits on the correct colors. Also, adding a Marvin to practice hitting it on the proper colors would be helpful.
Improved Death Boxes: Currently, all the items are inside crates, which creates a major obstacle for those trying to practice quick shield swaps. I suggest having different types of boxes, including a basic box that closely resembles what a normal player would have. This box would contain two guns, ammo, heals, armor, helmet, and everything else a normal player would carry. This would be especially useful when playing with friends and wanting to practice shield swaps in a live-time battle.
