Allow Controller users to rebind our ult on Apex (or fix the stated issues)

For years now, controller players have had issues with customized controls. One such issue disabled our ability to ping on the map (fixed recently I believe). The more frusterating one that has yet to be fixed, is rebinding our ultimate ability. To put it plainly, Apex Legends doesn't allow it.

(pics attached) when you go to swap controls in the customized controls tab in the controller section, the ultimate ability is greyed out. No other button does EA/Respawn disallow you to swap. So why the ult button (arguably the strongest ability in the game)?

When rebinding the ping/ability button, the ult buttons will always swap to the two buttons tey have been rebinded to. This is extremely frusterating because it makes it almost (99% of the time) impossible to hit both buttons at the same time even if you are perfect with doing so.

With my current set up (Ninja, so I can control my jumps/slides more accurately or jump/crouch to avoid standing while bullets are firing at me), I cannot use my ult without either pinging a meaningless ping which undoubtedly is distracting for my teammates or using my ability which is now wasted and could mean the difference between winning and losing (no way of knowing which one will happen first)

Conclusion: controller players are left with 2 lose/lose options. We either are motionless like a training dummy in a bullet fight or we are spamming pings and abilities just so we can access our ult

Please fix this issue. Weve been dealing with stuff like this for years

Honestly the lack of feedback on this thread is now the final nail in the coffin. Ive deleted Apex again after coming across this bug yet again in a ranked match where I went to ult a downed teammate as wraith with precious seconds before the enemy pushed and instead the used my tactical and I was sitting there looking like an idiot. **bleep** this game and **bleep** EA. I will never play your games again.
