- @harryBOTer2 As much as you hate the map I don’t and other people don’t. Just because you and other people don’t like worlds edge doesn’t mean everyone has the same opinions as you. I don’t have a favourite map and I like both. If you were wondering some people do truly enjoy long ranged battles. I have a friend where if you give him any sniper he will end the game with loads of kills in any game. I made a post about why they won’t remove a map and why which I suggest you read.
It will be interesting to see what the new update brings. That being said, I think the map is fine as is. There are engagements at all distances. The “lack” of jump towers you described is to force people to get into medium and long range fights. Can’t tell you how many times on King’s Canyon either someone gets away by going up a jump tower, or another team flies in from one immediately has the high ground, and can ambush the other teams.
If you like close range fights, make sure to have a “movement” character on your team, if you intend to attack. These obviously include wraith, pathfinder, octane, for team. For individual you can also use Loba, Revenant, or Bloodhound (pop his ult and call him greyhound).
The other thing is instead of hating on people that like to fortify or trap an area and call them ”campers”, perhaps try to get ahead of the circle, and play defensively. Let the other players come to you. Caustic can be brutal, as well as Watson, and well played Mirage, Pathfinder, Revanent, Octoane, etc.
Omg * world's edge. Like, half the server lands fragments, and the circles are * crazy. Also, mountains that block certain movements are fine, but World's edge is more mountain than playable terrain. Like wtf respawn. Yall are ljke, we want to make rotation better, then delete * mountains.
- @Josh_2000_11 No because A: every match isn't 1/3 fragments 1/3 sorting factory 1/3 everywhere else and B: the rings are not as harsh and there aren't mountains blocking every * path.
You sound exactly like the whiny type of garbage can that drops into the middle of three teams then screams in his mic when he dies off spawn.
Worlds edge is literally better than kings canyon with more buildings and just has way more to it than kings canyon.
- @harryBOTer2 Worlds edge is so much more fun to play on, the only thing kings canyon has going for it is scenery. In terms of gameplay worlds edge is easily the best.
