I completely agree with you especially as a Wattson Main myself. But you also need to understand that these characters play entirely differently. Like you mentioning Wattson being one of the weakest legends; this is only the case if you use her incorrectly. She's incredibly strong in buildings. Obviously in the open Legends like Ash are going to thrive against her... That being said you are entirely correct I don't know what the devs are thinking but ever since conduit they've been making broken legends/reworks and putting them in the complete wrong class. Like let's not sit here and act like Ash isn't a complete skirmisher. The fact that she's been giving assault abilities on top of her very much skirmisher like tactical and ultimate is crazy. I'm really sick of respawn just turning everyone into a skirmisher. It's also crazy that the Devs see ash sitting at a well above 20% pick rate and they put out the most mediocre soft nerf ever. I can't wait until after this season. The only issue is I guarantee they're just going to release some other broken meta that 30% of the player base hops on overnight. I'm generally just sick of meta chasers and the devs that work at respawn because of their idiotic logic. This season has been the worst ever as far as being completely imbalanced. It doesn't matter if you're playing ranked or pubs every squad you fight has a annoying ash that needs to go. This wasn't what Apex was intended to be, If it was they would only be a couple of legends to chose from. One of my favorite things about Apex was getting into a multitude of diverse fights because of the numerous amount of characters with completely unique abilities. It feels like that's slowly getting completely stripped away because the game currently has a insane balancing issue. Hopefully they get rid of having two dashes or completely nerf that cool down because right now The current state of the game is fried. No legend should be above a 20% pick rate.

Why do they NEVER learn from their mistakes?
20-30% of people who play only Ash now immediately attack you when you mention how broken this season is. It's a shame that people don't look to the future at all, that such a change will cause more negative than positive things over time.
As I mentioned before, thinking is an increasingly bigger problem for most here.
And yes - I've never seen such a messed up overall balance across all legends (even during a season where support was the meta.)
What's the point of this game if you want to play your favorite character who will be insanely buffed by Respawn in one season and then be unplayable or completely broken in the next 5? Is this the Apex you all want? Really? Congratulations on your intelligence (to those who think everything is fine).
