Re: My idea for a new Apex Legend JJ
JJ was an abandoned prototype born from the early experimentation that eventually led to the creation of Revenant. Unlike the other failed subjects, JJ’s mind reacted unpredictably to the simulated environments used during testing. Inside advanced virtual reality systems, he developed an unusual ability to manipulate mechanical structures and digital space itself. He could alter perspectives by viewing the world through artificial birds, interrupt programmed events, and interfere with simulations in ways the scientists could neither predict nor fully control.
As the project continued, JJ became increasingly difficult to manage. The overseers responsible for the program labeled him unstable and ordered him, along with several other experimental clones, to be discarded. However, a smaller group within the facility secretly believed JJ could become something far more valuable. Rather than terminating him, they connected his neural systems to experimental combat drones to test whether he could command entire swarms through direct mental synchronization.
The experiments quickly spiraled out of control.
JJ adapted to the drones almost instantly, gaining control faster than any subject before him. Before the researchers could fully understand the extent of his abilities, JJ turned the swarm against the facility, using the drones to escape confinement and fight for his freedom.
The escape triggered the attention of the organization responsible for the original Revenant program. Viewing the unauthorized experimentation as theft of company property and a betrayal of protocol, they moved to eliminate everyone involved. During the operation, however, they witnessed JJ’s extraordinary efficiency in controlling aerial technology and battlefield surveillance.
Recognizing his potential, the organization gave JJ a final choice: face immediate termination, or enter the Apex Legends Games as a competitor.
JJ chose survival.
I only added this because people I talk to said JJ deserved a back story the same as kid Grayson
