I know you guys at Respawn like forcing players to make use of new features but honestly, most people couldn’t care less about World’s Edge. Just bring Kings Canyon back. It was a million times better. I’m not asking for World’s Edge to get removed (obviously), but just give us a choose function. Just because you made a new map doesn’t mean you have to force us to play it for the rest of this game’s life. I know it’s coming back in ranked 3 part 2, but that’s not enough.

Yes - this is classic Respawn Entertainment. They make something new and if it's bad - sucks to be us because we don't get a choice. I am a PAYING customer. There are many others like me who want it back. It's the same with the stupid LSTAR and Charge Rifle - people don't like them, but instead of fixing them, they go and remove the Devotion and Turbocharger.Make "King's Canyon" available and let people decide on which map they want to play! I know you fear that World's Edge will die because 90% of the players will go back to the previous map and the few remaining ones will have to queue up for 10 minutes before a game is found - but if this is what the people want, then give them that!People should be allowed to play whatever they want!

@JuicyPotat0 The old map was good, but at some point we’ve got to move on. With a new map, the devs can make all sorts of changes that wouldn’t be possible lore wise in the old map. Also, the new map is bigger.

@Nino_Z What do you mean they haven’t fixed the L-Star and Charge Rifle? First, I haven’t seen many people use the charge rifle anymore, so it’s probably going out of the meta, second, the L-Star was removed from being a crate drop because it wasn’t good enough, and it was replaced by the devotion, which was really strong. The L-Star is strong right now as a regular weapon, but it isn’t super op.

@Sir_Named The LSTAR is only used at the moment because the other alternative is a neutered Havoc, which is also not good. They effectively removed the two good options and added the LSTAR. Where is the fix in that? Leave everything as it is, add your new weapon and if people still play it - then you know that the weapon design is good. This is not the case with the LSTAR and it's not the case with the Charge Rifle. The Devotion was perfectly fine for 3 seasons, but suddenly it's "really strong". And yet I bet you were not playing it - most people weren't as a matter of fact. How about they remove the R301, R99, Prowler, Peacekeeper and perhaps Flatline too, because they are also "really strong"? Hell, let's also remove snipers. Only the LSTAR and Charge Rifle should be left and suddenly people will play only them.

@Nino_Z The devotion fully kitted does much more damage than the r301, r99, peacekeeper, and flatline. Since they removed the turbocharger, (but still gave it the turbocharger effect), the devotion can fire near r99 levels when fully charged, (which is after like .5 seconds), has a bigger mag, and does more damage per shot. Also, the L-Star is used a lot. People don’t just choose the L-Star because they like energy weapons and this is the better option, they choose it because it is a good alternative to other weapons in the meta. Also, you keep saying “removed” but no weapons were removed. The devotion is a supply drop weapon, not removed from the game.

Just bring kings canyon back permanently.

@donthurtm3 I’m pretty sure Wraith couldn’t be more op, because all they’ve done is nerf since the start of the game. Maybe her hitbox is better, but that would be because it wasn’t accurate before.
The weapons should also be more balanced, as the top weapons have been nerfed (a lot) since their S1 counterparts.
Yeah, they’ve changed the game, but that’s how it is.
It’s your money that you spend. If you want to spend 700€ on a free game, you can.

Okay, so first time posting to this but I am a relatively experienced player, played pretty consistently since the release of the game. Personally, I do like Kings Canyon better as a map. It's what I've played longer, and I'm more used to it. I think that the map is good for some pretty awesome loot runs too! Me and my buddy love when KC comes back for the nostalgia and also because we feel we know how to play that map really well, its fun. However, Worlds Edge may not be as fun from a running around and looting perspective, but it has a completely (not all bad) game dynamic from KC. I never really used snipers or anything in KC, just because there is a lot more close quarters I think. But Worlds Edge has much more open space which has allowed me to really start utilizing snipers, especially the Triple Take. And while me and my friend do enjoy KC more, Worlds Edge has allowed us to find new things that we really love, and continue to enjoy the game. Idk why everyone is so upset over Worlds Edge personally, but I do understand why KC should come back. Its for the good of the playerbase that was here when the game first came out, and I think that having both maps available is really what needs to happen.

The loot kings canyon has is awful. Doesnt really match up any skills or anything when u just always completely run out of shields and heal items.(u find like 2 shells) "do more looting, kill more people". well the fact is that if u do early fight in the early drop it mostly only uses the shields the place had and after fight u run again without heal items. Yes its nice to fight the early drop and get the purples on ur team but what u do with it when u have 0 shields 0 heals? After that its hard to even find any proper looting options because all of it has been looted already. U might get lucky and find a couple bins from there and that but it just doesnt make sense imo. Then u run to a team and you have to suicide fight it. its all or nothing. because when you take dmg u dont have a option to heal. its just win or lose but you know u got to push and hard.
Well anyways.. Both maps are good, lil bit different. I like more the worlds edge. But kc has nothing wrong as a map but the loot is making me tilt so hard i dont see a point to play it in ranked when most of the time the looting rng does the thing for you. Yes its battle royale but still it would be nice to even have some effect for it.
Doesnt the loot feel bad for any of u old kc players..? That its so much rng based and if u dont find the heals then u dont and the game is pretty much it
AND lastly, yes the option to choose map would be okay. If it dont raise the waiting times too much.

Starting on April 7, Duos will be added to the game alongside Trios, as well a **permanent** map rotation that gives players the ability to play Duos or Trios on Kings Canyon and Worlds Edge.

what's funny is now you have everyone complaining about KC... yes, we are here, we are many, and we HATE KC. it's such a terrible map IN COMPARISON to worlds edge. if you don't think so, that's just personal preference. but WE is the better map for many reasons.

King's Canyon is absolutely awful, but the night map has to be a troll. Do the devs know April Fools is over?
It's absolutely terrible being locked out of the one good map of the three we currently have 2/3rds of the time and I'm absolutely not going to play a single game on that night abomination.I guess it's time to find another game to play if this is the future of Apex.

This is not true at all everyone I know and quite a few streamers and youtubers say world's edge is better. I cant stand playing kings canyon is so dull everywhere looks the same same ugly brown color everywhere the map is all used up it's boring. Worlds edge has so much more depth and better rotations and just an overall better map. You already have kings canyon on ranked and then 2 damn rotations of it and I get 30 minutes every 2 hours to play worlds edge and tou can play KC anytime this update is bologna

lol yeah this guy thinks because he spends money his opinion counts more than others. The devotion has been one of the best guns since launch. They dont force you to use lstar or charge rifle I rarely see anyone using them anyway so idk what game he is playing but he is in a different world altogether

Lol you must be the crap random teammate I get all the time havoc is bad?? Lol it's the best assault rifle in the game right now and that's coming from very good players and streamers/youtubers who play this for a living

@JuicyPotat0 I for one really dont like kings canyon at all. I think its dry and kinda colorless wIth no alot of diversity in map towns. I agree that there should be selection instead of rotation because. There are so many players that dont want to play on kings canyon just like there are some that dont want to play on worlds edge.
