I agree with most of this. I will say the only real problem for me this update is the shield reduction. As a more casual player, this makes the game almost unplayable, I frequently find myself downed before I even realized there was an enemy nearby, and certainly without an opportunity to dive for cover or return fire. Very frustrating, I don't understand the need for reduced ttk, makes the games too fast and much less fun. I do like the evo shield update, but please give us full shields back, keep the playing field balanced and fun for the casual gamers.,
- @PostalShade You took the words right out of my mouth, I couldn’t agree more with you. It’s sad because the shield reduction wasn’t even needed.
And now we have energy weapons everywhere which just melt shields right away. As a veteran player and someone who has hit pred the last 3 seasons (on Xbox) this is also nearly unplayable. 2 people teamshot you and you are dead before you can react. The game feels so dumbed down.
It used to be a player with better skill could beat one with better positioning... Not anymore. I agree with changing the time to kill, but they went overboard.
