(PC) 70-80% Diamond-Master are controller players

Just played 4 to 5 matches at diamond II, and every single team have at least 2 controller players or it's a full controller team. (Almost everyone is streaming at those ranks) 70-80% of the players ...

I hate to break it to everyone, there's nothing skill-based about this game.  Controller players dominating a certain rank bracket are the least of this game's concerns.  Audio, matchmaking, servers are consistently, inconsistent.  When a person can run up behind you with 0.00 audio, shoot you, and down you before you even realize that you're being shot , skill is completely out of the players hands.  No amount of practice or time in can mitigate this outcome.  Unless you're consistently looking North, South, West, East every 5 seconds, this will happen constantly.  Again, aim assist is the least of this games concerns with the laundry list of unaddressed issues present in the game since day 1. But they'll take your money, don't you worry about that.

@ThisGameBlows To some extent, what you're saying is simply a function of playing a battle royale - specifically, the part of looking in all directions to make sure you're not being pulled up on. However, the other parts of what you're saying contribute to an undue amount of this, such as the bad audio and server quality. I would say though that, aim assist does contribute to the argument because if you get no audio'd and then lazered, you have even LESS of a chance than if someone no audio'd you and then missed half their mag due to hand shake on the mouse.

Most people aren't even complaining about a combination problem, because even when the conditions are GOOD - good server, good ping, good audio, Aim Assist is simply another factor in ruining game. Controller players and MnK players are not playing the same game.

You are right that they will take your money no matter what though. Crossplay isn't going anywhere because the ability to play together brings in more money.
