Please remove this ring!

The odds against you with this ring if you're coming from the south is completely broken. You have to move it. I have won with 0 damage dealt due to this ring, and I have died twice from this very ring. It is likely the worst ring by far on any map. The amount of teams that just get stuck in a fight and die to storm makes the end game 100% avoid the ring. If you're in command center you have to go up the ropes where you can't heal and storm kills you 100% of the time. If you're up already, the spiders grief you like crazy as the enemy team will shoot all of them out and gate keep. If you go to the right you have an uphill fight with rather bad cover making it very hard to do anything.

@MrGreenWithAGun I like the ring in Launch Royale. It's slow, its weak, and there are no survival items that keep you in the ring. You have plenty of time to explore.
Often games end in round 2 because everyone seeks death, but still. I find it fun.

"i have been on a team once where we tried to move to engage teams, but never got to them in time. Without dealing any damage, we won, thanks to the storm cleaning up the last survivors for us."

I'm always surprised at how many people will claim that they hate this kind of a win. As if this game just regularly hands out freebies and easy anything. I say take the win and enjoy the fact that your team did everything right, and sometimes, just every once in a while, somebody else does all the damage and you reap the reward. I've had it happen many times now and I never get bored with it. The thing I like best is that it's an example of how sweating and trying and engaging may be fun, but they're not always the path to victory. Sometimes they're just the opposite. I love imagining what those guys are saying to each other as they run for safety knowing the whole time that they're not gonna make it. I'm thinking, "Smarter, not harder."

Well, ya, that is why the storm is there.

i have been on a team once where we tried to move to engage teams, but never got to them in time. Without dealing any damage, we won, thanks to the storm cleaning up the last survivors for us.

I always knew it could happen.

And I finally saw it happen to my team.

    Once.

Good position doesn't win every match, but it can make a big difference, and sometimes it's the decider. The team that positioned themselves from the north or the east SHOULD win that match. The team that tried to come in from the west through Command and then uphill from the south SHOULD lose to marksmen with a high-ground advantage. Not every fight is close-quarters with neutral position. Gun skills are not the only factor in this game.

Knowing how this particular close works now, next time will you be the squad that ends at the bottom of the hill or will you position yourself to high ground with no squad behind you? I know everyone likes to drop center-of-map and work to the circle, but in this case the squad that dropped in the ghost town of the upper right corner of the map would have every possible advantage. If they could stave off boredom and wait for the endgame.
