Well you can defend your excuse however you want, be it's definitely not in the heirloom category and the power sword bought by the gamers should function just as equally as the randomly drop power sword in Battle royal.

    So if you don't work for them, why are you trying to answer almost most of the forum post feed backs. Don't you have something more fun to do then trying to answer almost everything?

      Hey there, we are here to help answer questions for the players if some arise so staff can focus on more dire needed attention of details on other things. We volunteer this service to help them and provide the best knowledge we are capable of giving having a good understanding of the game in general and a lot of protocols for things. 

      When it comes to heirlooms they are purely for cosmetics. They offer nothing more in game to gain an advantage over anyone. It has been set up this way since the day the first heirloom launched in 2019. This would not change down the line. The sword event is like the buster sword where it also was an event to advertise its cosmetic aspects of it not what it can do in game. Thats tied purely to the game modes you are playing in general. 

      In the future feel free to ask any questions regarding the game and they will be answered rather quickly here on the forums before you purchase anything if you have questions about it. Could save a lot of confusion down the line.

        Your the second person to bring up heirlooms, obviously the power sword to own clearly isn't in that category now is it. It's a "universal melee" weapon and the respawn developers shouldn't scam the consumers by saying it's a heirloom. Give the power swords owners what they paid a lot of money for a "Univeral melee" with the same functions as the in game power sword.
