Yeah it's bad, I actually get more RP per game if I just wait until there are a few squads left. Could really care less about winning when my team wants to jump right into combat with 4 other teams.
Whenever I try landing with teammates I usually end up losing RP for dying right away, which makes no sense, since I'm technically "trying".
Yeah I've had a win with 5+ kills (I think it was 9) and while that felt good, I found that I'm just not one of those people that can do it every game.
At the same time I want to continue ranking up and it's just faster to camp the game out and get a consistent top 3 for placement opposed to actually trying and getting 3rd/4th partied.
Seriously if they would just remove the RP entry cost I wouldn't mind dropping with my team every game in ranked.
Plus even if I get a couple kills and die early, I just break even and get nothing for a game.
Bronze was the only fun tier because you didn't get punished and lose progress for a "loss".
They just need to remove RP entry and ranked will be alot more enjoyable. It's a great system, excluding entry fees.
Somewhat reminds me of WoW arenas when you get stuck going back and forth on rating and feel like you are just wasting time and getting nowhere in the game.
Seriously tho, the entry fees are horrible.
You're part of the problem if you just camp out the game to reach top 3 just to get to. You dont rank up by skill you rank up by camping in a corner until you hit the top 3 mark. Pathetic.
