@lxrgmonster lol do you not know what agression is? You literally just described it. Charging into fights to gain evo levels OR pecking at them from afar are BOTH types of aggressive plays.
Some players will intentionally avoid fights to look for gear (passive). Some players will look for ranged targets to peg and gain shield levels (aggressive) or even peg and run (evasive) which is like stealing shields from enemies instead of finding one. Others still look for enemy teams to attack or 3rd party for evo levels (also aggressive). What don't you understand about the term?
It's a good addition, just because you "disagree" or "dislike" it, doesn't make it bad, because clearly that's not the case or you wouldn't see people using it at all the ways they are.
Your dislike of it might as well just be a complaint about PK, where some people can use it to double tap players and some can't. (I am unfortunately one of the can't, mind you). So ill continue to use that "crap" when I find good opportunities to do so in game. So will the people playing aggressively or even evasively pegging and running away.
