Re: Apex Legends turned Fortnite...

I don't even play Fortnite but what is the reasoning behind changing the gameplay style to something completely different is beyond my understanding.
The game was great as it was so why change the whole actionflow by adding vehicles and ending up with this open space map.
They made the same mistake as in season 3, when they created the second map and made it more fortnite. It turned into a nice map but only after many many changes.
For me Olympus is exactly the same. Too many open spaces without cover or loot. Too many chokepoints when the ring closes. Personally i find it extremely boring. In the open space there is absolutely nothing interesting or no reason to stay there so all the action is immediatly concentrated in the few buildings that are in that zone. The barriers between zones are also usually too huge and unbridgeable, creating terrible chokepoints with the ring, and quickly closing the action down to a very narrow set of remaining buildings and a lot of useless open space.
New ideas are always needed to be creative, but forcing people to play this, and only this for 2 weeks, just makes me want to look for something else to do or play.
Because it doesn't resemble any of the Apex Legends gameplay i grew to love since season 0.
Also the SBMM seems worse another notch, yet again. Another reason to just stop playing, since its virtually impossible to have an enjoyable game with my 2 newbie friends against all those 20kill/4k dmg/predators.

@fuzzykeuh Seasons also determine SBMM. With that being said everyone will be placed in the same lobbies until SBMM can properly place them after so many games.
