Re: Bet mode

In my humble opinion, such a game mode would bring two types of complications - social and legal. Socially speaking, it would arouse unseen levels of toxicity and open potential for bringing the game conflicts to real life. Legally, Apex is based on a random process of equipment distribution, so it can be accounted as gambling with all problems and regulations thereto retaining.

Yep and you have Kids Gambling and then the boycotting starts then the Professional Liars/Politicians would be in on it to destroy it, the game would be blamed for things like Mass shootings and other absurd things such as Organised Crime Certain religous groups that have strong anti gambling views and such would say how the game tears families apart...

And the Media would propel it for the simple reason they get to be the good guy again telling everyone how evil somone is and it's not a lie because we're evil.

  • The only way this would work, would be if you earned a type of free currency each game and you could use that to compete in a playlist.

the currency could be used to buy cosmetics.
