And also people get into console lobbies with m and k movement also it's a problem. Just needs removed if the thinking is doing it so new players can come. And that way it's not one sided.

So does tap strafing that's the main thing that needs to go. And if that happens to AA I'd want a refund for my time in this game and my loot it wouldn't be apex anymore. For real for real. Tired of stupid nerfs like I said 20 bombs and 4ks have been patched out the game. I run into m and k players and they just die can't get kills so no don't remove aim assist as its what makes this game even playable. I've only opened my mouth because there's a unbelievable amount of keyboard warriors in apex and what I mean by that is they just type and complain about everything that their team does but never reflect upon themselves. And blame other things for why they are bad at the game.

Edit: and also just seriously how can it be a m and k only thing. Just sounds like to me shouldn't have ever been in the game.

@fadinglightxxaim assist is definitely not fine especially in mixed input lobbies.
no one want to play against aimbot assist.

I won't say how I feel either way, but will just point out that is kinda funny to see MnK players complaining about Console players in their lobbies and the AA assist. 

And also see Console players complaining about MnK players in their lobbies and their movement and aim advantages. 

Its just funny to see each faction using the exact same complaints and arguments as the other.  : ) 

Makes for good endless reading.

Because even if it's a movement bug , tap strafe require something from you while aim assist is just cheating with extra steps.
So everytime a controller player suggest something like this it's just ridiculous/hilarious.

best solution would be to remove controller players from pc lobbies and just let you play by input.

@WTF_Huitzo I do think this situation is bad for PC and you shouldn't have to deal with trying (or not) to balance two different inputs on your device. Your statement is kind of silly though. Tap strafing is an exploit correct? An unintended mechanic that exploits the game's features for a competitive advantage. Ethically it's little different from finding a series of movements that make you bulletproof for 2 mins or turn invisible. Aim Assist is in the game and functions as intended making Tap strafing far closer to a cheat.

That said ya'll shouldn't have to deal with AA up close any more than I should have to deal with the ridiculous accuracy of a Mouse at range. Seperate lobbies for ALL!!! 

(Always feel a little weird pushing for segregation in any situation.)

@WTF_Huitzo Don't know. I do remember the Devs stating it so be an exploit that would be patched ages ago. However that might have been them trying to save face after the community started complaining and a number of videos started popping up that made the movement look ridiculous. As a console player I don't really care if it stays since that seems up to the PC community. Doesn't affect me? Not my problem.

Hello.. prob last reply from me. I just want people to get along. I'm tired of the community being divided.. have to have the discussions though is all. I love you guys. Just try to be understanding of one another and I'm glad to see that. I do think tap strafing should be removed if controller players can't do it too. It just seems wrong. And if aim assist up close is a issue.. slight nerf would be fine. However I would appreciate a Aim assist buff for long range to maybe make controller and m and k more even. M and K has so much more range than controller unless your using a sniper. Idk. Have a good one just my thoughts on it. Both nerf and buff would probably be very slight on adjustment I hope.. edit. Many games do this well..... Bring up other weapons to match to maybe lower the time to kill as it is way to long it would help the game feel better to everyone. Can't do anything as a solo I feel anymore. I understand it's a team game. But like I said earlier it feels impossible to get badges nowadays.... I wish there was more also.. I really really wanted the 100 win streak badge in arenas but there were so many cheaters even than and it never got the attention it deserved.........

2025 edit: Wooooo arenas backkk es get it. guns feel better even though there was a AA nerf. flinching got reduced, and its easier to use ranged weapons on controller now. threw me off on my sense for a bit but I got used to it. roadmap seems good. hope is back. Tap strafing is still a ongoing issue.
