Re: Can you make the cross plate-forme, please?

I'd love cross play between consoles but I'm definitely opposed to bringing PC to the table until they really get a grip on hackers, if ever.  This is purely selfishly speaking.  I don't want to have to deal with cheaters.

I think it was you who mentioned in another thread that more people in the pool reporting cheaters would be a good thing, but if they're relying on reporting to be helpful for their machine learning solution, I don't think a big pool of console players would help.  There would be more false reports of cheaters than viable results provided by console players - because the vast majority of them aren't used to seeing keyboard and mouse quickflicks.

You've already got people on here saying they report everyone with more than 5k kills - imagine if you put a pool of MILLIONS of players into the reporting mix who had no idea what they were looking for unless they also play PC.

It might water down the cheaters for PC players, and they're free to want that - but for console users there is absolutely no benefit to bringing PC players into the mix.

It would happen, false reporting would be a small issue, but does it out-weigh the benefits of joining two communities together, yes. Massively yes. The extra issue i foresee would be it might make finding the cheaters harder, because of the vast amounts of added players.

EPIC makes a ton off of Fortnite, but they still have cheaters just like most pc games. That's one reason why Easy Anti Cheat will never fix Apex's issues of cheaters, if Epic can't even do it, how could they do anything different for Apex?, plus the fact they are direct competitors with EA, doesn't help.

Who ever thought of using Easy Anti Cheat as Apex's anti cheat software was smoking something. It's like Micrososft asking Sony to help make Xbox One better, meanwhile Sony has the PS4 to look after. My point with all of this is, Epic won't ever do a better job on Apex than they do on Fortnite, just nope.

Creative design shoudln't be heldback because a small group of people don't follow the rules. I say, deal with them by publicly bashing them on socal media for their wrong ways, but never limit of creative ideas of the whole community because of them, why let the cheaters win?

Video games are just that, games, let people play together, work out issues later.
