4 things about you must be true, if they are true when you (rejoin?) the thing happens... well my name is pink if:
- I'm Lifeline
- I have no banners, poses, stats, etc.
On the board, it shows your legend, banner pose, banner background, and the badges. These are 4 things that are about your legend. I tried removing everything off Crypto, and my name remained white. Only Lifeline showed pink. I haven't tried anyone else.
- Tried Bloodhound, it works; I assume it's any legend whom aren't unlockable

I just know the dev posted these tweets I just screenshotted them to post here- @FaIIenAngeI777 I saw those tweets and I'm pretty sure it is the banners because as you said, it's about you, and from what I said, your character skin, banner, pose, and badges all display on the board. Those are four things.
It also said "the thing is not subtile". I believe the item isn't alive... the banner board isn't alive. Not only that but, the first thing I noticed when I joined the match as Lifeline, I saw pink from all the boards when my banner icon displayed. I actually got a bit blinded by it... lol - @Midnight9746 I wonder why as Lifeline though unless something Lifeline related will happen soon in a future Event, well you said it also happened with Bloodhound and there was those Lifeline/Bloodhound Box Sets maybe it was referring to those

Crypto appears to be white, but most of his default is white. With Wattson, I was switching so fast that I didn't wait for her to load in.
From Twitter, the Dev said if 4 things are true when you ****** then the thing happens. I think it means rejoin. If the 4 things are true when you rejoin. It could also be select, as in this mode you select your legend.
For this thing to happen, there's no sequence or anything. AKA, you don't need to jump on a jumpad, zip, drop something, switch characters or anything. It's also something anyone can do without needing Legends to be unlocked. It's on the map.
Banner boards are on the map
It shows everyone, new and old
It shows any legend
It can show default gear that anyone would have
I think the 4 true things are based on the Legend themselves. Each default skin, pose, etc. shows who the character is. Our customization shows who we are. The 4 things about us, about your legend, which pretty much puts it as the legend themselves is who they are.
1) Default Skin: True
2) Default Banner: True
3) Default Pose: True
4) Empty Badges: True
Later I will join a match with 4 legends meeting all the requirements without one, and another 4 only meeting one to see if the color is based on all of that. I know if your character is decked out, it shows white. - @Midnight9746 It sounds right tbh Im gonna head to bed but will recheck this in the morning if I remember Good Night
Didn‘t the dev say this was highly unlikely to be done by accident?
since having everything on default is what every new account is like when they go into the firing range for the first time, I doubt it‘s that ...
- @_Faebulous17 When you think about it, most players aren't going to be new to the game unless they just got into it or they're wanting a second account or they're a hacker bypassing. At some point, people would had customize it. But, you're right there's probally something more.
- @Midnight9746 show it to them by messaging them via pm or @ them, if its the easter egg they will tell if not, try again

So, I did more tests and found out that the color named thing is based off of your legend's background. Along with yet another name that randomly appears on boards. Like, they're all players.
- @Midnight9746 the other player background could of been a bug they say that we share the server with other players you just can’t see them usually but not sure the names hard to read
@alexcifaSomeone actually solved the easter egg i watched the yt video but I can’t get it to happen for me idk what im doing wrong theres gotta be more to it i do exactly what the video does and nothing happens....
