that is one of main issues with the peacekeeper, since it can do a significant damage even on far distaces, especaially with the perk. and having a base dmg on 110 and headshot dmg on 165 with a high fire rate, makes it way to easy to get your kills compared with any assult rifle.
There is a significant need for the PK to be nerfed. They're fairly common for how devastating they can be. Earlier today I found one, then choke, then the yellow 1x threat detector. I was doing 100 damage from about 75m out with those three things, not even considering the threat detector highlighting any enemy in range. Nobody was safe, I was literally sniping with a shotgun.
That's the current meta, PK's with chokes. Why? Because it can be a devastating CQC weapon, but it can also be a devastating mid/long range weapon with the proper attachments.
With a PK and choke, even with a standard 1 or 2x sight, there's no need at all to use an AR, maybe a sniper rifle for long range, but it completely destroys the necessity for any other weapon for close / mid range if you have the opportunity to choose.
It absolutely needs a nerf.
They aren’t that common? You can find one just about anywhere when you first drop. For how powerful of a gun it is, it is way too common.
