Re: Please Fix/Adjust Loot Drop Rates

@jlpoddie413 I agree, there is no reason why the devs couldn't increase the amount and/or quality of the loot on a map. More guns = Less fist fights. Given the option, I'm pretty sure every single player would rather use a gun over their fists. Melee should be an absolute last resort, unfortunately right now it is a top option in close combat, which is stupid, because this is a First Person SHOOTER.

I completely agree, and believe the whole system of loot and weapons in this game, is quite frankly broken.

The only guns with any substance, and the only weapons you actually find on lootable bodies endgame are: R301, Flatline, R99 and Spitfire.

If you have or hold any of these guns in a fire fight, and are against any of the other alternative weapons not mentioned, more often than not you'll win.

Sure, there are some exceptions to runner up weapons... Volt, Wingman, Longbow, Sentinel. But a volt is weak, not even on the same page as the R99. The wingman and snipers require a certain level of skill, and since this is the case, the reward payoff isn't there for most people so they are ignored.

I just wish to pick up a weapon class that feels adequate and balanced enough to engage in a fire fight. Instead of this weapon structure system Respawn use... Why should a player be penalised or punished for landing on a Hemlock, Alternator, any shotgun, any marksman (as an example), when there opponent lands on a R301 or R99.

The balancing is so poor and there is such a difference in weapon level structures and tiers, that it separates the weapons drastically. I hate it!

But this company just choses to instead of fixing the issue, by promoting other guns and having more variety, so there is less of a weapon imbalance... To constantly NERF weapons with any real substance or simply shove them into the loot drop.

Why can't they just revert the Hermlock to its season 1 meta. Revert the G7. NERF the Havok slightly, but also remove the stupid charge up time (which makes it unplayable). Revert the Mastiff. Revert the Peacekeeper.

Instead of nerfing everything they get right, they need to focus on buffing and balancing weapons which aren't usable in a practical 1v1, against their counter part top their weapon classes.
