Re: Remove aim assist now on PC

@Luxxtenebri Aim assist has never been as apparently powerful until recent games. Apex ramped up the Aim assist for PC controller users tremendously over console.

OP talks, very unbiased imo, about how there is still skill required to be a good controller player, but "your aim sticks onto enemies regardless of which direction they move."

He also posts a few examples of how a controller player, even though he's well known to be a very skilled player, is shooting thanks to aim assist in ways not humanly possible. Still a good player, but extremely boosted in ways that extremely skilled mouse/keyboard users can barely compete with.

    @4ccbf460f7b926b1I believe aim assist was stealth buffed when the prowlers were introduced last season, because if you think about it; on controller you snap to their body and you hardly have to aim to kill them if you're ADS and THAT is the issue that others have when going against a controller player. Somehow this has transferred to aim assist. THIS is the reason I believe aim assist has become strong as hell; it is annoying because it takes away the skill once needed to kill an opponent. All you need to do now is what was mentioned in the video you posted and if you also look at the reddit post; it wasn't long ago which also backs up my point of when it first started.

    It would also make sense because games like to be noob friendly, and what other way then buffing something that has been here for 5 seasons; not many people would notice the difference at all unless they really thought about it. This issue also persists on console and it is most likely another reason why the game feels stale.

    @MoNosDirtyGaming Your argument sounds extremely plausible to me.

    Because I remember third party aimbots running rampant seasons 1-2, maybe 3?
    Then everything was calm until around this season/last season with the current aim assist nightmare. So it's either been buffed, or become extremely popular with the way to abuse it becoming more common knowledge.
