Re: Silent footsteps/fix your audio

@0xYYZ

You'd be surprised, a lot of console players seem to use them.

    Do note that not every player is super competitive.

    Bluetooth headsets can be quite easy to use, especially on console platforms where BT headsets are typically more liked due to the fact that you either have to link your headset to the console or the controller itself.

    For casual gamers the audio should work fine, every game should be able to properly support BT headsets without any issues at all.

    Of course these headsets can encounter some issues themselves due to interference and so on, which is a pretty normal thing... though this doesn't mean that games shouldn't support them.

    Don't think it's stupid for them to complain as these audio issues could still be related to the client itself, though with audio issues it's always hard to figure out the cause.

    That's why with issues like these it's better to check with wired headsets to eliminate the chance of there being issues with the BT connection which would be causing the audio issues in that case.

    Doesn't mean that people with BT headsets can't get these in-game audio issues, so I think it's completely fair for them to complain if there is something wrong with the game itself.

    @XHelperZ dont get me wrong. this games audio is total garbage. u just dont hear some of the footsteps regardless of what type of audio output you are using.
    my point was bluetooth headsets are not suitable for fast paced gaming or gaming in general because of the latency.
    you can watch videos and things like that via bluetooth because driver can sync it. cant be done in online gaming.

    Well yes that's true but this would pretty much only matter in a really competitive / eSport type situation.

    BT headsets have become better overtime, still not perfect, though not something the casual gamer would really have to worry about.

    I think it's still important to get complaints and so forth about casual players.
