Re: The Apex Mainframe got hacked! - Fuse Bio changed - image proof attached
@Zulkiers This isn't from a hack. Its from the current event. Some of the legend's bios changed based on either the void swap event or by hints given by "Alter" on the Apex Legends Reddit page.
These are the following swaps:
1) Ash <-> Valkyrie
- No change in their bios from what I could tell
2) Caustic <-> Vantage
- No change in their bios from what I could tell
3) Conduit <-> Revenant
- Conduit's reflects being inspired by Revenant, (read the Reddit post below), and Revenant saving her family. Her family was saved by a Titan in "our" timeline. It also talks about an ad about becoming a simulacrum.
- Revenant's seems more based around cats, well... based around murder of cats... I don't know why Respawn wrote that in his bio. I would of preferred it if it was him liking cats. His skin which is his version of Conduit also looks like a cat. A murder cat robot... murdering cats... that tracks, I guess.
4) Fuse <-> Crypto
- Fuse's talks about hacking just about anything. It also mentions that he likes fashion. (Read the Reddit post below)
- Crypto's implies that he's bad at computers and can't code. It also mentions Fuse's ad drink, the Koala-Cola which is Apex's version of Coca-Cola. It also mentions Crypto had wrote a book. Crypto never wrote a book in "our" timeline. Crypto was a hacker from a young age.
5) Octane <-> Alter
- Octane's mentions daddy issues. Sure, he had issues with his "dad" who we know as Eduardo Silva, but the "dad" we knew of wasn't Octane's dad. Its his uncle who took over Eduardo's identity after Eduardo had died. The "Eduardo Silva" we saw die during the "Kill Code" event was actually Torres Silva. It also talks about portals. That's kinda Alter's background... er... from what we know of Alter. Then it mentions dimensions and how Octane was stuck in another world. Who else can go to other worlds besides Wraith? That's right! Its Alter. (Wraith can go to other worlds, which is how we got the Halloween mode. For example, that Revenant we had as the game's Halloween announcer was not our Revenant).
- Alter's, well "this" version of Alter... talks about stunts. That's Octane's whole thing. Octane blew off his own legs to get the fastest time in a gauntlet run. Which his whole character was inspired by how players speed ran the gauntlet in Titanfall 2.
From Reddit:
- Here's why "daddy issues" was being heavily mentioned in Octane's bio. This "version" of Octane has a major issue with his dad and I'm guessing its suppose to be a version of Alter's life because it mentions portals and being in other dimensions. It might be related to Wraith instead as our Wraith's background is that they are not from our timeline. Although Octane does have cosmetics based around Cheetahs, so maybe its just a way to "explain" that in the lore.
1) Yellow Highlight - This is why Fuse's talks about hacking and fashion.
2) Green Highlight - This is why Conduit wants to be a simulacrum. They're "inspired by something else" aka, Revenant.
3) Blue Highlight - This refers to Lifeline's prestige skin finisher. Its very brutal, you can't tell me that's her being a medic.
4) The part about "the best version of Dr. Somers", right now Alter had offered Horizon a way back to Newton - a way back in time.
There might be other changes to bios, or changes to other things such as the map to fit with the theme of alternate worlds.
Note: When I say "timelines", I mean other worlds aka other dimensions. When someone crosses into another dimension, they're in an alternate world and then suddenly that world may have two of them, or maybe one of them, (assuming that person didn't exist in that world or was considered dead at the time the alternate version had crossed over).
