Re: Why I'm ditching Apex
@Kroyezan
"Either give us an option to bail out instead of loading into the match, dropping, getting our * kicked and going back to the main screen."
They do give you this option: Pubs. You can quit without penalty at any time, and you can bail immediately after legend selection and not even have the match show up in your match count. If that sort of thing matters to you.
"This season has been a lot of me in rookie and for some reason it's always putting me against full silver 1 or silver 2 squads."
Statistically speaking that's a fairly good match. Talk to the guys who are stuck in gold and constantly matching three stack predators. Anyhow, I honestly have come to believe that the game gives us a million tiers to make us feel like we're accomplishing something as we move up the ladder, but the truth is that, as far as the game is concerned, you're a top 3% player, or you're everyone else. I really don't think they see any material difference between bronze and platinum players. I've seen enough players up close, including several predators, to believe that the skill gap in this game is not nearly as wide as I once thought it was. I think they know it too and that's why matchmaking works the way it does.
"I'm currently running Windows 8."
Okay. I'm just really not even sure what to say about this that won't sound like a public shaming 😉
