REMOVE aim assist now that crossplay is a thing

It speaks to exactly what the problem is, with empirical evidence tied to response time and connection delay. This is precisely why playing against controller players is a nightmare for PC players.

I grew up on twitch shooters where movement was key (think Quake 1 and Doom), so it's my bread and butter skillset in all FPS games now -- my tracking is pretty subpar, especially on ADS. Against a controller player with aim assist, my movement skills are neutralized and my only chance is an evade and flank, which heavily relies on the map settings.

So, control the gap you say? Keep them at mid-to-long range for engagements? Great. However, that is completely counter to the meta of Apex, which prides itself on third-party and attack closing speed.
