I dont care about controllers aim assist tbh..
1) You still need to be a good controller player to utilize it. Sure; a super noob might become a noob and a noob might become a semi-noob with aim assist compared to without but I think this debate is a bit silly. If a hardstuck platinum m+k player who runs into a "pro skilled level" controller player, then ofc he will melt him, just like a M+K "pro skilled player" would. But in my experience, whenever you get matched with a premade where one of them are a controller player, then he will suck donkey 9/10 times if you ask me.
Bottom line is that I am fairly sure that the Xth percentile (skill-wise) M+K player is far, far better than the Xth percentile controller player at ANY skill ranges.
2) This is not even a cross-play issue. You are totally free to play on a xbox one controller in your PC and play with aim assist if its so OP...
3) I think the only relevant context of the aim assist debate is among pro players on the competitive pro scene, and maybe also among master/preds. At that level, all players are at a, what I earlier referred to as "pro skilled level" when it comes to movement, aim, and game sense so I understand that aim assist can be huge there but for us "normal" gamers, I think the issue is quite exaggerated.
And again a lagging Console Player... is that the 30fps Switch?!
Even in Spectator it looks like Micro Stutter!

The best player with Controller & Aim Assist is much better then the best player at M&K without any assist...
- Aim Assist reduce the recoil!
- "gun view" jump close to enemy, especially when I'm in a in close combat I feel that very strongly! First time i see that "Feature" in Fortnite, now respawn also add this *.
- Aim Assist don't really care about incoming damage & bad view.
Anyway, I just don't want any help for my Mouse... i played Shooters for 16 years without any help, this is just an insult to me!
Allow me to opt-out or disable aim assist in pc lobbies on controllers. This is beating 2 birds one stone. 1 being player requested feature. 2 being why not knock out the entire reason people use Cronus Xim and more to grant aim assist to mouse and keyboard. Why not disable it making those third-party devices quite useless.
It's annoying shooting a console player first, but their lag and aim assist gives their damage the right away.

So which players in the The Apex Legends Global Series use controllers? The list must be long, based on your claim, right?
