Revenant Buffs

He actually has the second lowest pick rate. He's only commonly picked on Kings Canyon where there the terrain supports his death totem well. He's not what most people would call a "fun Legend" which is why in pubs his pick rate is concerningly low. Infinite climb would make him somewhat more appealing to casual players but not more frustrating in the Ranked meta.
climb speed increase would realy add to this legend.
@Apyhs He already has that but when he climbs higher the speed slows down.
Unlimited climb is something Revenant is likely to receive in his confirmed upcoming buff, if he’s still too weak statistically then they could look at another buff to his Passive or his Tactical.
@Ironflower196
He does according to Daniel Klein on Reddit, the guy who works on Legends. I myself rarely see him picked as well.
There’s no way he should get a buff. The most broken legend in the game. It takes absolutely ZERO skill to play Revenant and his ultimate is so bad for the game that the game is no fun after diamond.
His pick rate is low because he is such a boring legend to play.
He seriously needs a range limit for his ultimate and legends shouldn’t be able to use their abilities while in Rev ultimate.
@chuckmynorris
He’s not broken at all.
Zero skill? Yeah, the ultimate definitely doesn’t need good placement and timing to actually be good. Why not place it in the open for all to see.
The range limit is what made him bad in the first place! So giving it back is a terrible idea.
@chuckmynorris oh yes, my totem becomes useless if i am more than 30 feet away forcing me to put my totem to go into the open then when I respawn I can instantly get ambushed by a caustic and wattson, oh yes I almost forget It takes no skill to hit silencers or tactically place your totem especially on kings canyon the world of third parties, Man, Revenant really doesnt require skill!
Im being sarcastic if you couldnt tell
Passive
- Cannot be detected by scans, he's a freaking assassin.
- Faster, better climb than current.
Tactical
- Less visually distracting, this is extremely frustrating for people with easily distracted eyes that can't see someone through a pin hole of a visual and lazer someone on the other side. It's like asking someone colourblind to differentiate blue from purple shields when they can't tell them apart (and apex does support colourblind settings)
- Enemies hit by tactical are revealed briefly (2 seconds). Enemies re-entering it's radius refreshes this.
Ultimate
- Better usage functionality. Insane clunk involving getting team mates to use, current state requires HIGH communication skills which only exist on teams with mics, or ranked premades.
- Better duration for non-instant octane push encounters. Often requires line of sight with enemies and fast transport to reach targets elsewise.
While comboing with Octane jump pad makes it a powerful push, that's an intentional combo that is used, not an "always powerful" setup for Revenant.
