Sparrow jump passive
Hello, I would like to suggest to bring Sparrow's jump passive to about 10 seconds cooldown and not the current 3 seconds. In my opinion you should tone it down as he jumps way too often in a fight. It is challenging to track him. Ash got toned down, he should get the same treatment. Just increase the cooldown a bit, so he can use it once when he needs to only. Everything else is fine. Thank you for reading, best regards GamesPlayer. Ciao!29Views2likes3CommentsPathfinder ruins control maps
Being able to traverse the entire map with Pathfinder's ultimate totally breaks the control mode... at least with Octane you can destroy the pads. Every time one or two pathfinders are in the game, it turns the mode into a joke of teammates just zipping from control point to control point as soon as they die, and it RUINS THE GAME!!! ALSO, why is it that when I am filling up my shields with a shield battery, if I get my Ultimate it stops filling up my shields... This is an issue for all game modes I think, but it makes so sense and is very annoying and DETRIMENTAL TO STAYING ALIVE OR DYING!!! Why would this even be a thing?! I'm filling up my shields...Ultimate reaches 100% before shields are filled...and it STOPS FILLING UP MY SHIELDS BECAUSE I NOW HAVE MY ULTIMATE AT 100%!!! WHY?!?!?20Views0likes2CommentsVisible health bars & low TTK
I genuinely believe adding visible health bars and ruining the TTK has taken away a lot of what made Apex and the fights great and interesting to play or watch. Season 21 was the last time we played before health bars, then the low TTK happened in Season 24. No surprise the game has been on a steady decline since S21... The fights are way too fast now and the teamfighting/legend dynamics were completely changed when everyone just pushes everything super fast with low HP because they know exactly how low they are, and with health bars, know exactly where they are or what direction they're trying to evade to. The game is way too one-dimensional now. The game just isn't as interesting anymore because the fights aren't nearly as back-and-forth as they used to be. Also it's increasingly harder to balance all the weapons/legends to be viable when everyone dies so quickly and the fights end so fast now. I know this is copy/pasted from my other countless other comments about these changes since they were added over a year ago, but I don't know how else to make my point. I've repeated my point of view over and over, but nothing is being done and the playerbase and viewership keeps declining... I just want my favorite game to return to its former greatness. Here is a summary of why the two biggest core gameplay issues plaguing the game are visible health bars and low TTK: Health bars: - Gives free tracking and awareness - letting players see exactly where weakened enemies move, even through foliage or visual clutter. - Makes 3rd partying way easier since you instantly know who’s low and safe to push. - Removes the fog of war: no more guessing HP, no more deception via shield swaps, no more hiding HP weakness by using shield cells/batteries to re-peek. - Makes certain legends and abilities (Seer tac, Bloodhound, Mirage ult, etc.) far less valuable. - Encourages nonstop aping and movement legends - if you ever peek with flesh, everyone knows and full-sends. - Subconsciously affects split-second decisions at every level of play. - Makes tracking and aiming easier because players now have giant bars floating over them. Low TTK: - Erases mid-fight depth, teamfight dancing, clutch potential, and outplays. - Punishes solos and flanks - one tick of damage reveals your exact location and HP, and you’re basically out of the fight. - Leads to instant knocks → quick 2v3s with little chance for recovery. - Reduces the value of defensive or slower legends. - Shrinks the margin for error so much that taking even minor damage forces you to hide and heal instead of fighting back. Combined, HP bars + low TTK: - Creates cheap, fast kills, shallow fights, and overly aggressive playstyles. - Removes most of what made old Apex dynamic, skill-expressive, and balanced. - Makes movement less valuable and tracking easier. - Turns fights into linear one-dimensional “see flesh/red HP bar → push instantly” scenarios. Overall: Apex played best and was at its peak in the seasons before visible HP bars were added. Removing them—and/or raising the TTK—would restore much of the original depth and fun that made us all like the game. Here are some of my previous comments that have received positive reactions, showing that I'm not the only one that see's what's currently wrong with the game, go back and read people's replies to these as well: 1 - comment in the competitive apex sub on a comment lamenting about the lack of viewership/engagement in the eSports/pro scene now 2 - replying to a comment in the recent dev AMA that's concerned about the game's direction towards movement with low TTK 3 - the issue with the Support meta the season before they lowered the TTK was because they removed the only counters to support utility then swung too hard the other way and blanket buffed literally every weapons' damage, removed helmets, and Red EVO rather than just bringing the counters back. 4 - heavily upvoted post during the Support meta questioning why counters to Support were removed 5 - heavily upvoted post just days after health bars were added 6 - highly commented post complaining about low TTK not long after it was added 7 - highly upvoted comment linking my clip asking everyone's favorite iiTzTimmy on his opinion on health bars 8 - example 1 of seeing your target through things you shouldn't be able to because of health bars 9 - example 2 10 - everyone's favorite aceu getting instantly knocked then sarcastically praising the low TTK change comparing it to Warzone, why do you think he stopped playing? 11 - a comment where people agree that health bars are arguably the worst change they ever made 12 - a comment to the devs in their recent AMA on legend balance 13 - a comment where I pasted a lot of my other smaller comments about this topic 14 - a comment where people agree that low TTK lowered the skill ceiling too much 15 - upvoted comment on a post lamenting about how hard it is to play immobile legends now 16 - upvoted comment the season after the Support meta agreeing that buffing every weapon/lowering TTK was a mistake, lots of good discussion in this whole post 17 - upvoted reply on a comment from a returning player who doesn't understand why the fights are so fast now114Views1like9CommentsFix Mad Maggies Ult
Prior to her "buff" her ult would at least make contact. Now it's just bouncing all over the place and doing practically nothing at all. Not only that, if you throw it at someone pretty much 5 feet in front of you, it wont hit. It'll bounce. and if you do get lucky enough that it does hit, it bounces right back at you and now you're thrown off. 99% of the time it's useless. The speed buff? Wow, so cool thanks, every legend is a movement legend now so this isn't that much helpful. Also it's called the "Wrecking Ball" and DOES NOT WRECK ANYTHING.4Views0likes0CommentsWhy can Horizon just soar through the entire map now
What was the thinking here? She gets her tactical pretty much instantly and she can just float anywhere she wants. You can be octane and not be able to outrun her because she just floats and floats and lands without any slowness and then q's up and floats and floats8Views0likes0CommentsCrypto's Prestige Skin
Hello, I would like to start a discussion about a Crypto's Prestige Skin. It's the legend that I play the most, and have both of his heirlooms and many skins. I have few ideas: Crypto, similar to Cosmo Logical, could be a God with a third eye. Alpha & Omega. How to have 3 levels to it, like you're not going to make him naked like Mirage? Right? Some sort of clothing of divine idea. But Crypto is a hacker/scientist/engineer who has become a God. The other idea I got would be something like Raiden from Metal Gear Solid 4 or Revengence. Sort of like a samurai but technological. Please don't add wires. Make it wireless. Some sort techy hacker/samurai like an Onimusha! He already has got 2 katana heirlooms. Maybe a collaboration with Oninusha:The Way Of The Sword! Would be sick! Collecting souls! Like Neo from The Matrix. Don't follow the rabbit! A shinigami: https://youtu.be/IUnpTRyfHSw?si=TEAYmuvc-deA5CbI These are some of the ideas I have got. The dive trail must zeros and ones (0 and 1), like The Matrix. Something like that because he is a hacker/computer scientist. A finisher depends on which skin you want to make: A hacker/god/samurai thing would like about slashing the opponent is some sort of way. Like beheading or like Revengence you take something out of them after cutting them in half. Like a Mortal Kombat Fatality of sorts, it doesn't have to be bloody of course. Like Onimusha (the videogames) collecting their soul. What kind of idea does the community and the dev team have for Crypto? These are the ideas I've got so far. Make it sick looking and fun! Add your input. Thank you for reading, kind regards GamesPlayer. I AM OMEGA.18Views0likes0CommentsWhy can't we use Katar Handles and Blades separately?
As a Katar heirloom owner, I’d like to suggest allowing players to customize the handle and blade skins separately. This would add so much versatility! Often, a player might love a specific blade design but dislike the matching handle. Personally, I would love to use the first blade theme (the blue one with the glowing lines) with a different handle. I hope the devs consider this to give us more customization options. Thanks for your time!15Views0likes0CommentsMatchmaking
This is something I have brought up to a few of my buddies that I play Apex with and they all agree with me on it. I believe you guys should somehow implement a thing for matchmaking where it only puts you in a team with people who don’t use your main legend, that way your guaranteed to do better in game. You could also integrate a setting to enable or disable the feature for anyone who would like that.26Views0likes0CommentsHeirlooms
I love apex and have over 1200 hours in game. I have only gotten my free heirloom after opening 500 packs. I understand the market of free to play games, I do, but it feels like apex is only rewarding cash. Many other games allow you to earn in game currency by completing missions, or just playing the game in general. Look at marvel rivals. I haven't sunk a dime into that game and still have several skins, emotes, and other fun cosmetics. Not rewarding loyal players is a sure fire way to turn people away. I'm not saying you need to hand out heirlooms, but maybe after you reach a certain account level or hours played you can reward a player with at least one heirloom. I know the ecosystem in gaming is complicated but I feel that apex is especially money hungry when it comes to heirlooms.41Views0likes2Comments
