Solos and Duos are needed

Solo's is a no brainer for Apex Legends, would improve the overall experience tenfold. The one big problem with Solo is that certain characters would become overpowered. The simple solution to this problem is to turn off hero's special abilities for solo. We've a big portion of the community asking for Solo, let's see if Respawn listen to the community.

I disagree that the game absolutely needs solos and I really think it was built from the ground up to be a team game. That said, I don't see the harm in them adding in solo queue.

Is it really that hard to deal with randoms though? Most people I run into are pretty nice and helpful. Definitely a lot of fresh noobs but we kind of all are right now. If your teammates are really bad and you aren't able to carry you just die and move on to the next match. Not that difficult to deal with imo...

@firebird-gabr1eL  Listen to yourself.. In order to enjoy the game you are forced to go talk and make friends with randoms in your game.. Sometimes you just want to play solo. Sometimes you dont feel like having some random bot on your team that doesnt want to communicate. SOMETIMES you get that player in your squad that just wants to run solo and leaves you and your buddy to finish the game 2 against 3.. What would it hurt putting solos in? Or Duos? It wouldnt hurt anything.. You would still need to work as a team in duos just as much as trio. People like you are annoying to all hell.

While I think the decision to launch the game with 3-man squads was a great idea, I also would like to duo queue (as well as larger squads) in the future. I would not consider this a high priority, however.

What? Why do I have to talk to randoms/strangers? First of all, every friend you have once was a stranger to you. Second of all, I have friends to play with. They were strangers but years ago we started playing together and now we are friends. And even when we have a random in our squad we try to be nice and communicate (voip, ping, chat) as well as possible.

Maybe you don't know but human beings normally do have some sort of social behavior. You should really ask yourself why you are not able to find friends and cooperate with others. This is a squad-based game. The whole idea of the abilities and mechanics is that they should complete each other.

No one's forcing you to talk to randoms. You don't have to play this game. You can go solo in PUBG. Have fun there. Introducing solo/duo would destroy the whole idea behind this game and splitting the community. Do you also ask for solo mode in Overwatach or League of Legends?

My advice to you. Go ingame and play matches. If you find good mates (equal skill level, good communication) add them as a friend, find a discord server and play with them together or go and find a clan. If you're not able to do so look for a good psychiatrist (because something's wrong with you) or live your sad and lonesome life and play PUBG.

In an interview with VG247, design director Mackey McCandlish elaborated on the idea behind squads-only combat:

“We were looking for social opportunities. That’s manifested in this game’s three-man squads, pinging a smart comms system that helps squads coordinate, and respawn chambers keep squads playing. In the same way that we didn’t consider any of the conventions of battle royale to be sacred, we didn’t consider any one part of the Titanfall universe to be sacred.”

And now please send your link. Some people don't want the same thing? That's totally fine. This is a squad-based game. You don't like squad-based games? That's also totally fine. The developers didn't want to do a solo game mode but YOU are the one who's trying to force them into something. Your argumentation is pointless. I'm not the one who's demanding that other people have the same opinion as I do. 

You're demanding from the developers to change their opinion/idea behind this game. Knock down/reviving/respawning mechanics is totally squad based. The abilities are squad based. The developers didn't want the same thing as you do. That's the way the world is. Grow up.

And by the way, what's next!? You want a solo and a duo queue? There are many people out there (believe or not) who have more than 2 friends and don't want to split in separate groups. Why not a 5-man queue? In the end we'd have 4 queues, right? But wait. How about a ranked mode in Titanfall (although competitive play is hard in battle royale in this game it might work due to squads and revive/respawn mechancs)? But ranked for which queue (solo, duo, 3-man, 5-man) or for every queue? Fortnite for example supports different game modes and maybe this game will have an alternative game mode as well in the future.

So in the end you will end up with maybe 10 different queues. This leads to long queue times (even when the concurrent player count is as high as it is now) and poor matchmaking.

Let's look what we could do if we stick to 3-man-squad. One queue for casual, one queue for ranked play and maybe one for an alternative mode. Three queues would make it possible to have a good skill based matchmaking in a battle royal (in Fortnite and PUBG there are many people who never have won a single match), with good pings for everybody and short queue times.

But instead you want to rip the heart and sould out of this (awesome) game because... you don't want to play and speak with other people.
