Unfair Ranks

I’m a player that is in platinum, and should be against platinum players but why am I going against Apex Predators? How is this fair to the ones that are trying to rank up? And why wasn’t the ranking system being fixed? Now I know I’m not the only one experiencing this and I know I’m not a big shot that Epic listens to but this is the reason why many players is leaving this game due to the lack of fixable requests. I know that there is an option to report them but how does that fix it? It’s like a slap on the wrist to those that have such a rank. Where is the punishment? Where is the accountability? I know the devs are doing the best for a game they love, but what about the leadership that can guide this game to greater lengths? It shows to players like us and it’s not fair.
