If you are behind cover you should not get hit. But we all know about lag and that can account for some of the things you see and have happen.
some of the vids look like one might be protected from below but of course bullet drop is a real thing and not the same as cover from the front or above.
the large size of Vantage‘s ult bullets is intended and I do not think this will be changed.
and as others have mentioned her ult is not at all comparable to reg sniper weapons in fact it is either less powerful slower or both.

I completely agree. Please take a look at this clip, which is on the firing range, where the bullet strikes behind cover horizontally. This means that neither lag nor bullet drop is to blame - it's the behavior of Vantage's bullet that is the problem.

Ok. The first set of shots all hit the same spot distinctly the corner of the wall. Pretty good aim to hit almost the same exact spot each time so fast.
the one and only Vantage shot hit very much more to the right and if what was behind there was barely visible I can see the hit happening.
for that test to be true all shots would have had to hit the same spot with different results. Since the shots did not do that proves nothing.

If you slow down the clip, the first longbow shot clearly goes past the wall. It's not until the third longbow shot that it actually clips the wall the target is covered behind. Watch the difference in travel time.

Enhanced close-up in case anyone is having trouble seeing the original clip.
Both shots are effectively in the same exact spot, and neither clips the wall. I've also included screenshots of the reticle the moment before shots were fired.

Good eye, this is exactly my point. The vantage shot is further away yet strikes the target behind cover. The longbow shot missing is proof that the target is behind cover, and the vantage shot hitting despite being farther away is exactly my point.

The dummy is not fully covered. They are so close to the edge of cover to basically be out of it, it is a hard shot to hit and bullet drop and size come into play. That is why the Vantage shot that is just a little more to the right drops enough with a bigger bullet to hit.
