@DarthValtrex I’ve heard the opposite— that the mods aren’t considered cheating and that’s why we aren’t seeing bans on the console side of things.
I recently got into an argument with an online “friend” who revealed they have been using it for the anti-recoil functions. This is what prompted me to start asking other players at the Diamond/Masters level about strikepack use. I was literally offended at how many have Strikepacks with specific anti-recoil gun mods.
And this makes complete sense. I have pretty good aim on console and some of what I feel (and spectate) just doesn’t make any logical sense. One clipped by a Volt from 300 meters? Wait what?

@Axs5626Sxa5001 LOL people are posers. They wish they were something they aren't. Problem is this participation trophy generation has no moral compass to realize how cheesey it is. They are to dumb to understand that automation is cheating.

- @GRiPSViGiL I disagree that it is "this generation". People have been cheating in literally every competition for hundreds of years or more.
- @aisthebestletter While I don't disagree with you there my point was meaning the newer generations of gamers not understanding what should be considered cheating or unacceptable. You are supposed to physically control everything to determine skill no matter if you use K/M or a controller. If game makers are literally allowing automation then how are they supposed to understand the concept?
Christ, they understand that they are cheating. Your mindset is part of this problem too. The bigger issue is that these people have a “win at any cost” mindset because they have never learned how to lose. EVERYBODY GETS A TROPHY! When u insert this idea into a kids mind, “ur a winner no matter how bad u are,” it creates narcissism. Mommy said I’m a winner!!! When all they know is how to be a winner, (even though they are trash at whatever they were lied to about) they will win at all costs. It becomes necessary in their life for validation of existence. Bottom line, cheating is cheating, trash is trash. Apex has become the latter.
- @aisthebestletter No, hes right, i dont want to start in on the millenials but my generation fostered a sense of softness and security and completely removed the next generations ability to fight adversity.

The idea of improving at something legitimately is secondary to just cheating your way around it.I think its more the advancement in cheat tech that's causing this to be honest.
Back in the old MP games if somebody cheated it was so blatantly obvious that it was quite easy to control the flow of cheaters. Sorting through which reports were accurate and which were not was much simpler. Thus people were more wary about cheating.
Nowadays it can be much harder to detect cheaters, so more people veer towards cheating if they know they can do it with near impunity, and even if they do get caught they can work around any sanctions.
