I think every day from season 2 onwards I kept saying that. I usually hit 10-15 levels a week for the pass back then, so usually by the time I got frustrated to the point of being done, it was usually after my level quota for the day. I'd stop playing and wait for the next day.
I think less than a week into season 4 I actually said it and quit entirely. Only thing that wants me to come back is extreme boredom, especially with quarantine and the fact Warzone doesn't run on my computer.

@Koochi-Q I don't really know to be honest, in the tutorial bit that they make you play I had medium settings and hit 80 frames consistently and it ran really well. But the moment I jumped into an actual game my game wouldn't stop stuttering. Turned everything down to lowest and it wouldn't stop. Wasn't lagging cause everyone was moving just fine including me.
