100 million players not enough for map selection!?!

So I've seen plenty of articles saying apex now has 100 million players yet its not enough to give us map selection???

And for the past few seasons they have merged the LTM's with the normal modes instead having it separate?

How many players do they need? Do they need every single person on the planet playing apex to give us map selection?? Do they also want animals playing as well to make sure they have enough numbers?!? FFS!

@DoYaSeeMe I have my main acc on my xbox, I logged in on young trees pc and switch to see the differences, but don't play them. Still only 1 user not 3, not even 3 accounts as all the same account and email and sign in details.
Surely bonuses would be based on factual volumes of use?
This would be obvious to ea and respawn. So why the obviously overstated hype? Is there some sort of share float coming for the gullible? 😃

@OldTreeCreeper I think everyone counts unique users in pretty much the same way. They can also estimate the percentage of duplicate accounts, by market studies, or count by unique IPs and MAC addresses.

Anyway, doesn't matter if it's 82,345,679 or 100M, number is still huge. Their projection was for 1-10M after 1 year (Chad Grenier remembers 1M, Jon Shiring remembers 10M), so like 15-20 tops max after 2. Going 4-50 times bigger than expectations is very impressive, by any means.

Nice
