@hayhor I don’t even think it’s that. I think they feel entitlement. Coding is one of the hardest things to do in this world (depends on which code, what kind of programmer you are and couple other factors), yet ppl think it’s easy as you said because they think ‘you’re just writing codes’. But the entitlement comes from them playing the games and want to have a good experience.
They have no perception of how to do the job and are usually too sheltered to even think about how it should go. Cause most adults who work are just doing their jobs but not doing all they can do within it. They make mistakes, don’t work as hard or as efficient as they could and so on. Yet these gamers want the devs to perfectly work on an imperfect engine that should make a perfect game run perfectly on imperfect servers perfectly all the time which is impossible cause there’s no such thing as a perfect code!
