Don't get me wrong I 100% agree with you BUT.
I have gotten insanely lucky with loot boxes. When I played Pathfinder guess what I unboxed? Pathfinder skins, I have an epic and legendary along with banners etc. I start playing Lifeline and the game just throws skins at me for her. Last night final crate I get a legendary. I've probably spent like 40 bucks on the game.
Rolling the dice is fun, that's why Las Vegas makes so much money.
BUT there absolutely should be the option to purchase skins directly as well as gamble for them. I'm not really sure how you'd balance that and keep appeal for both options.
