Abandon Penalty Cooldown/Reset
I can't find any published info about a cooldown or reset of the abandon penalty after a specific time period has elapsed--other games I've encountered a deserter or leaver penalty in have integrated...

This conversation is so old. It’s simple, don’t leave your team early in ranked! If you do then you are the problem! Not the penalty, YOU!
@DavidW74 It's an absolutely terrible setup.
Especially the immediate doubling. I just got hit with a 1,400 (24h) penalty. I let my son's play, add I guess sometimes they leave lol. But I left after all 3 teammates were downed. 1 was sitting on a self res, over 300m away from my other teammate and he went down. Sat there down for about 45 seconds. Other teammate goes down and so do I. So instinct, leave match. Boom 24hr ban. I have like 30 hours to hit predator and I'm diamond 1. I think it's completely ridiculous
