about Community competition

We want to host a community tournament for Apex and have applied for an official custom room code, but we haven‘t received a response.I would like to know whether applications are currently not being accepted or if we are not eligible to receive a custom room code.If I need to wait for an email response, how many business days will it take? If my application is rejected, will I receive a reply?

Where did you apply for a custom room code? I don't believe they accept applications (via the mail that was available before) in the old way, though I'm not sure if it's even possible to apply for one at all at the current moment.

Do keep in mind that every player in-game is capable of starting their own private match, this can be found when changing gamemodes and selecting private match at the top:

From that point you can create a match, but you will need a minimum of 30 players for BR and around 5-6 players for the other gamemodes.

Also make sure that your tournament adheres to these guidelines: https://www.ea.com/en-au/compete/guidelines

We want to allow teams to choose their drop spots, just like in ALGS, so we applied for a match code. However, we haven‘t received a response. Without the match code, teams won‘t be able to select their drop spots.
