Why wouldn't you have "Recent Players" available in "Add Friends."
"Games as a service" aka microtransactions requires people playing more than one time.
1) Make a good game
2) Let me add randos who are cool to play with.
3) Watch profits increase
FFS, EA, have the head of Respawn be the CEO, because they know how to make fun games.
